The offsets ARE different.  That is why I don't give offsets in the directions for other levels.  I said offset to metadata (this varies, plug in whatever the correct value is for that particular map) + 2F4 (I don't think this will vary, but I don't know yet)

Now that we got flying Warthogs... why not have grounded Banshees? I'd assume you'd have to give it the metadata of a Warthog, right?
Now that I think about it, that'd probably work to speed up the Scorpion, too (switch Scorpion Metadata with Warthog's).

This doesnt make any sence to me. If we could of gotten banshees in the first place, there would be no need to make the other vehicles fly.

Actually it does, now we can have air to air combat, and air to ground combat, with the warthog, one guy driving, one manning the gun....

i dont know what everyone elses problems are, but i got all three of the vehicles to fly flawlessly!  Your a savior dmauro!

they got spoiled used to changing 8 digits and thats it
now you gotta change a WHOLE section and it is difficult
good luck to those who cant do it
if my simple instructions dont help all i can suggest is try and get some people to upload the new file to an ftp server and hope they will host it

There are some ppf files at http://www.xbox-saves.com to make life easier on some. Right now they are under New Uploads.
Grab ppf-o-matic here http://www.megagames...x/psx_ppf.shtml

For other levels
Ghost: (offset to metadata + 2F4) - (offset to metadata + 318) (Replace everything between these offsets with one of the sets of code to the left)
WartHog: (offset to metadata + 2F4) - (offset to metadata + 318) (Replace everything between these offsets with one of the sets of code to the left)
Scorpion: (offset to metadata + 2F4) - (offset to metadata + 318) (Replace everything between these offsets with one of the sets of code to the left)

Yea I still have no idea where or how to find the metadata for those on any of the maps sad.gif

Look at the index file generated by Pfhorslayer's HME.  It gives the offset to the metadata.

Look for a program called Halo Map Extractor.  It decompresses .map into cache.map files and generates and index of them.
