DosFlash don't knows how to read/write this drive sad.gif but Liteon key v3 is working.
Maybe, tarablinda's full dump will works but drive can be broken during that. (drive is not mine)

You arleady did a great work..& this could be the begening of the write solution for liteon 0225...

Listen brother tel us how did you get the drive into the vendor mode & how's looking this PMT?? is-it like the first one...
IPB Image

try to contact Schtrom or Geremia , they could help you to make compatible the Dosflash v1.9 with this liteon 0225....you did great in getting the drive in vendor mode...now this is the job of software developers...

Well donc ARY..you proof that you're one of the best in the scene..

I think that using 0x72 at 0225 we can use LiteOn v3 key (Tarablinda) only... No write, no read. This way is similar with lizard (x360 pro) key dump. More tests soon smile.gif be patient.

They can dump key, but not full flash... I can't try to write 0225 because this drive is not mine smile.gif maybe drive can be rewrited using this.

I tell you it later. Now I'm not sure about this way. Maybe this drive is special.

Thanks brother...it's a very good progress, you're a hero today... biggrin.gif ..
But I am asking my self...when a liteon drive is in the 0 72 statut this is meaning that it's in vendor mode, am I wrong ???? & in a vendor mode we can write something in the chip !!!!
So the problem may be just the compatibility between dosflash v1.9 & the liteon 0225 ??!!!! what you say ARY ??????
If you could try to contact Schtrom(the man behind Dosflash v1.9) in the xbox-hacker forum, may be he could help you with the 0225 ???

Thanks in advance

Yes, it's vendor mode. But we can read and write memory only if controller allow it! I think that 0225 drive have another controller's firmware!

P.S. Only you are reading this? Where is the public?  biggrin.gif

I don't want to contact anybody. I'm not hacker.

BTW, unless you can dump the firmware, this method is not very useful, 0225 key dump is already done!

This thread is for discussing the firmware testing and pending release, not arguing about whether or not those who work on custom firmwares receive compensation.

0225 key dump is already done, but it is not FREE!
Thank you so much Ary! Hope you contact the guys behind dosflash and tarabinda to develop a free way to read/write 0225.
I have 0225 drives to do some test, please contact me if you want me to make tests.
 Thank you again!
