Hey I recently tried to solder my lite-on 83850c v2 drive before reading all that I should have and I didn't know that I needed the DVD Key to switch out DVD Drive if it broke. I ended up messing up on the soldering by peeling some of the copper up. It also has an updated dashboard so from what I know it is not currently Jtagable. It is a jasper motherboard and I was just wondering.... I have heard there are ways to retrieve the original firmware and key from the drive even though it is damaged. If it was possible to even send my DVD drive to someone that can extract the key for me and if it is possible, send me the DVD Key through email I would be willing to pay. Thanks
