Lite-on 83850c Key Extraction

Hey guys my brother recently tried the to cut the traces on his lite-on 83850C drive and now he has messed it up. I only know about my benq so i wanted to send it out to get repaired. But before I do this is there a way to extract the drive key with out the drive? Because the drive is really damaged and I don't want to send it out only to find out the drive cannot be repaired and there will be no refunds.

can you post a picture of the damage done to the board
still might be repairable

Yes there is a way, that is what your brother was trying to do.
Send it out to someone before it is lost forever.
