Hitachi Updating Help

Using jungleflasher you must restore to stock and then upgrade to iX 1.51. It is beyond easy to do.

You won't ever need to wave patch games again on iX 1.51 but you wont be able to handle ap2.5 should your console require it and it probably will. Wave patching cannot do anything to fix ap2.5 checks anyhow.

If you are still on dash 8955 then there are numorous reports that if you update to kinect dash beta 1 then kinect dash beta 2 and then the retail kinect dash 12611 that you console will magically not require ap2.5 checks. I have not tried it but numours people report this works.

You other option is to replace the drive with a benq or lite-on to get ap2.5 this works but is not cinsidered safe on xbox live. Still you sound like a lucky person.

No idea if/when we will ever see iX LT+ for hitachi but if that came out thet will solve all your problems.

I've seen the news about LT+ for Hitachi so I will just wait until that is released until I do the update.

Thanks for the replies guys.
