I was working on fixing my LiteOn drive and in the process dropped my cell phone on the open PCB.

Does anyone know where I can order the cable pictured. It is the green one with four solder balls on it.

Yeah, I was working with it on the carpet and talking on my cell phone. I ended my call and missed the table. The phone dropped directly on the cable. It tore in about 3 spots.

I didn't realize it until I had it all put back together.

It is just my luck. I don't want to buy a whole new drive just for this cable. I am sure I can find one somewhere. I just don't know where to begin looking.

If you dont mind a dodgy fix, it looks like you can just solder wires from the wormdrive motor straight to the main PCB (at the connector)

Dodgy fix, but none the less will work equally as well.

i dont know that you can order just a flex cable but i believe there are people selling the worm motors on ebay.

the worm motor would have one on it, then just swap out the motors
