Any news on the new 0800 ripping firmware that can rip AP2.5 SS? I only like to rip games I own. I never download ISO's as I never know how good they are.

Samsung doesn't need LT+, it's fine with LT1.0.

Great news guys!!!! I'm still gonna wait a-while for my xbox because I only play reach and its not ap2.5 anyway. I always check the xVal before I go online because I am paranoid and all is still clean playing only a 0800 rip of reach with LT 1.2. And i even have a backup pf the Nand.

Oh yea and i am still clean even after booting up my 360 without a dvd tray today ooops lol.

Patched original FW to LT+, flashed it on the drive, plugged it in, and went away. Works great, thanks!

So just to clarify lol

I can hook up an Xbox with a Samsung drive with LT v1.0 (which isn't spoofed as another drive) to Xbox live and get the latest dash update and play all games online without a "problem"?

Forgive me if this has been asked earlier in the thread, but here's my situation...

I've been running on a non-stealth iXtreme 1.41 flashed BenQ VAD6038 spoofed as a LiteOn for maybe a year and a half now (safe on Live), and thought I'd basically never need to upgrade my firmware again because it's been working perfectly fine for me (so never bothered to upgrade to LT), until this ap25 stuff came around.

I know the nfo says LT+ won't work with spoofed drives, but I've read a few posts from people that were running spoofed BenQs and LiteOns spoofed as other LiteOns that have had success with it. Is it advisable to try?

If the BenQ spoofed as a LiteOn won't work, can I just replace the BenQ with a LiteOn? Or does it have to be the original drive, not just the original model? The original LiteOn is fried, so there's no way I can go back to it.

Furthermore, do I have to reflash to the OFW before flashing to LT+ or can I simply go from 1.41 to LT+ directly? If it helps any, I've already upgraded to the Kinect dash.

You can go straight to LT+, just have a read of the Jungleflasher tutorial.

You can spoof between drives in fat boxes that support AP2.5 i.e. Liteon/Benq, it will allow LT to boot the games but it's most likely not safe for Live. The slim has realtime FW checks so Spoofing on those won't work.

Safest thing would be to get any old Liteon and flash it as your original model.

Hi, I have flashed LT+ to atleast 30drives by now.

Some clerification:
Samsung flashed with LT works fine with ap25 games. (Original drive Samsung)
Hitachi flashed with 1.51 works fine with ap25 games. (Original drive Hitachi)
Lite-On flashed with LT+ works fine with ap25 games. (Original drive Lite-On)
BenQ flashed with LT+ works fine with ap25 games. (Original drive BenQ)

Spoofed drives:
Samsung spoofed as Lite-On will NOT load ap25games, old games works fine. (Original drive Lite-On)
Hitachi spoofed as Lite-On will NOT load ap25games, old games works fine. (Original drive Lite-On)
Lite-On spoofed as other version of Lite-On works fine with ap25 games. (Original drive Lite-On)
BenQ spoofed as Lite-On works fine with ap25 games. (Original drive Lite-On)

My conclusion is that you can´t replace Lite-On with Hitachi or Samsung and boot ap25 games.
Old games works fine on new dashboard.

Correct me if I´m wrong.

Hello,

Anybody have dvd drive eject problems after flashing BenQ 83850V1 with Jungleflasher 1.76 and LT+ ?
After flash, I reconnected dvd drive to xbox and ejected tray without a problem. Flash worked. I logged into xbox live for a few minutes and then logged off (no games played). Now, tray does not eject. Previous f/w was ixtreme 1.61.

I followed same steps as above on another console with same dvd drive but after flash, tray doesn't eject. Any info? Previous f/w was LT but jungleflasher recognized it as stock.

I am using VIA chipset (recommended for this type of work). Flashed other drive brands with other f/w's and no problems.

Update to LT+ and Install New Dash. Both are a must, and yes it is as simple as before.

Now I have a question for everyone, Is it fairly safe to play ssv1 wave 1 and 2 rips online? Or do I need to redo them?
