I know you can rip games with ssv2 security using a samsung kreon pc drive and manually patch pfi etc later (only bothering if you use live). My question is....Can you not rip AC:B NFS etc using the same drive and manually patch in the AP25 ss

?? Or is it a case that the software currently out e.g. XBC cannot read the data on these new games to actually get a rip? And if so ,will it ever get updated to be able to rip these AP25 games?
i think you can rip the game and then use abgx250 v1.0.4 to patch in the game data but only if the games are in it's database which currently 3 of them are. (in general though the patches that are out are typically made for certain 'releases' if you know what i mean. but i suspect those should be the same if you got a retail disc yourself and copied the game data and then patched in the AP25SS yourself with abgx360 v1.0.4)
but in general no current methods can actually properly rip a AP25 game all by itself since it cannot get the AP25SS from it which is required for a AP25 game to boot up with LT+.
but i think bottom line is... if the AP25 game is in abgx360's database (which all current AP25 games basically are) then you should be able to rip the original game disc like usual with XBC and then patch in the proper data with abgx360 and it should work since i assume the 'releases' out there pretty much did that and then used whatever special stuff that they had to get the AP25SS injected into the game.
p.s. but i think they could be working on new 0800 firmware for BenQ/Liteon etc (as someone asked c4eva this not to long ago and i think they could be doing it in the future) so that it CAN properly rip AP25 data so you can just copy the discs like we been doing for a while and then burn without having to worry to much about abgx360 patching, especially for us offline users.
side note: just remember to put abgx360 v1.0.4's autofix level to 3.
