If I had known that the original LT was going to transform my first-gen Lite-On into a pain in the ass, then I never would've upgraded past iX 1.6.

Question: I took my 360 offline a couple of months ago when all this talk about LT+ was coming out and a possible ban wave.  I still have the 9199 or whatever dash on the 360 with the old LT firmware.  Would I be save to flash LT+ to the drive, then hook the 360 back to live and update to 12611?  Or should I go back to stock firmware, update to 12611, then put on LT+?

I guess what i'm asking is if anyone knows if there are dvd firmware checks during the update process from 9199 to 12611?

anyone know?

Normally I am pretty tolerant of idiots and stupid people that don't know how to use google or the search button, but this thread is chocked full of dumb people asking dumb questions.  The answer to every question here is written in another thread on this site.

Several of the questions are either common sense on are in the damn NFO.

I want to rage kill all idiots now.  Are you satisfied?

Agreed with VERY much.
This thread will cause quite a bit of headache for those just reading.

You should be fine without going back to orig. Doesnt matter if you update to LT+ first or update dash first.

Hey everyone, I see abgx 1.0.4 has been released and once run with a ap2.5 it downloads something in regards to ap2.5, does this mean we no longer need to manually patch the iso or is this step still needed.

Very good question! I like to know this as well, since I'm still haven't patched anything yet!

Also, In a previous script from c4eva stated that we are protected agaisnt new AP25 from new games, but I didn't think it would afect us having to update LT+ everytime there's a new AP25 wave...  wink.gif

Anyhow, not complaining, I just thought that LT+ would solve all future AP25 games.. I guess not all the way. pop.gif

Quick heads up regarding spoofing the different liteon drives:

AFAIK all liteon drives are the same hardware-wise, only the f/w that comes loaded on it is different so no need to spoof.  If your original liteon drive died and you put a different liteon version in it, just load your current liteon drive with whatever f/w was on your 360 originally.

So in other words (this was my situation)
-my 360 originally came with a 74850c drive, it died
-I replaced it with a 83850c V1 drive
-I just flashed the 83850 with the LTPlus-748.bin file from LT+

Haven't tried any AP 2.5 games yet but all my old stuff works fine.  I used the same method for iX 1.6, been using if for a long time like that up until now.

Might be obvious info to many but it might help some of you if you're in a similar situation.

Same goes with BenQ's 62430c & 64930c. I just did a swap between the two and they work fine.

Hey all,

This is great news! Thanks to all those that have been working on this.

I have a question regarding spoofing though.

My Elite originally came with a Hitachi 79 drive, which I changed for a BenQ drive (as there is no LT firmware for Hitachi drives).

Is there absolutely nothing I can do to correct this? It seems I am rather buggered...
