it doesn't matter if it's for the current firmware version of the drive, as long as it contains the key from that xbox you're fine.

Load as source, LT+ as target, spoof, erase and flash... thats all

If any of you bothered taking the time to read this thread you would find 90% of your questions answered. As far as spoofing goes you must make sure the OSIG of the motherboard (keyvault) matches the FIRMWARE of the drive used. Therefore you must match manufacturers.

Are the version numbers listed for the Liteon Drives? I have a BenQ VAD 6038, is this firmware compatible with this yet?

I just flashed one of my 360s with LT+ by using the original dummy.bin and it's working fine. I have another box that I do not have the dummy.bin file from the guy who Jtagged it for me and then flashed it with the original LT. I got the DVD key through Xellous, so how do I flash LT+ to it without the original firmware? Can I just put the key in and spoof it to the 74850 LT+ firmware or do I need to have the original firmware? I don't really want to do the MRA cuts to dump the firmware if I don't have to.

No ban wave kinda makes me wonder if lt1.1 was undetectable. Im not understanding why microsoft didnt ban everyone this year with COD BO, Halo Reach, and others being released close to the holiday season. Do you think that microsoft is just waiting? or do u think that AP2.5 was added in order to combat the latest firmware giving them issues? I got an alder arcade and i hadnt been on live yet, nor have i run any of the newer games, so im tryna decide if i wanna spend $60 on live. last time my account got banned right before it was time for me to renew. Tryin not to spend the money only to get banned right after.

LT+ is a great news!
I have a question though. Been using ixtreme 1.51 until now with all my games patched down to wave 3 - will these patched games work on LT+ or will I have to burn them again? or would the activate.iso do the trick?

OK, tried myself, flashed my liteon with LT+, and all of my Wave3 patched games still work.. in case anyone else was wondering smile.gif

I scoured the thread, didn't see this situation asked so I figured I'd ask and hopefully get an answer.

I have 2 elite systems with BENQ drives in them, one is banned from live and one is not.  I'd like for the non-banned to stay that way, of course.

I placed LT+ on both without a hitch.  Is there any way to test that LT+ is actually on the drives and working?  For example, is there a new wave game or something that would not have loaded on LT and will load on LT+?  My first concern is that I have LT+ on there correctly.

My second concern is playing backups on the non banned console.  Obviously nothing is 100% sure, but if I ran my Need For Speed Hot Pursuit backup through abgx 1.0.4 and it passed everything, is that considered as safe as can be right now?  I did not run the PPF patches, let ABGX do everything.  The backup ran fine on my banned console but I'm afraid to put it in the other one.

That console does not have new new kinect dash on it yet, either (the live safe one).  Is it thought ok to update to that via file download from the Microsoft site?  That was how I planned to handle it (update the dash while not on live).

These are my original drives that came in my systems, btw, non spoofed.

Thanks for any assistance/clarification!

They are probably still waiting. They must have a good amount of bans waiting to go out just from old fw (before LT+), and I would say they are waiting now after LT+ just to see if they can detect it or not. Its a big game of cat and mouse, microsoft is waiting for a big juicy mouse to come across it (ala people using spoofed drives now or people with old firmware). I would think we would see a ban wave before xmas though, as its the one time of year where someone can actually justify buying another $300 console.

my thoughts aswell, i'd be very suprised if there was no ban wave in the near future.....i mean it's what they do, pretty much every year.

we'll see.

wasn't there nearly a two year gap in banwaves before the big one last year?  after the banwave when the intro'd jitter detection, which backfired, because it created alot of false-positives and microsoft seemed to take a while off after that one.  Last year then managed to detect a few things the modified firmware does, but c4eva found out which and fixed them.....

I'm guessing MS didn't intend for people to note ap2.5 before the new dash came out.  The fact that they stuck it on fable III, but didn't put out the new dash until several weeks later, seems like something went off plan.  It gave people time to not update the dash until a new firmware came out.   I bet MS isn't very happy about that one....

If they are doing a banwave.. i agree that they'll keep gathering more info.. if they can ban people pre and post lt plus, it would cause more confusion.

ive flashed my benq with lt+ which is spoofed to a liteon and it plays ap25 games ok.  btw maybe ms realises that people only have so much money and wont ban people hoping they will buy a kinect.
