come on guys, it's been answered and it's right in the NFO


You cannot spoof a different model drive as that can now be detected. With this release of LT+ you HAVE to have an original Benq or Liteon.

but detected by what? the 360 mobo? xbox live?... are those who do not have original drives shit out of luck?

Just updated my BenQ from iXtreme 1.6 to the new lt+.. my burn of NFS is just giving me a black screen at the mo, going to try the 2.5 patch and give it another whirl

they anygood?

ive tried using the guide to reflash but im getting no dvd key where in the guide it says i should auto get it from database... im lost lol

I have a BenQ spoofed as a liteon.  Just updated to LT+.  Patched the NFS:HP iso with the ap2.5 patch.  Game is working with no problems on latest dashboard!

Will probably get banned if ever go on live, but the backups of ap2.5 games work fine...

Load dummy.bin as source.
Load LTPlus-838.bin (the one just released) as target.
Spoof source as target
Erase
Intro the device (Turn off then turn on as per msg that pops up)
Write
Done.

yea even if spoofing is supposedly detectable, we should still be able to use spoofed drives, i mean it's our own choice, not like anyones holding c4eva responsible if someone gets banned or whatever.

an for those who pretty much stay offline too.


i just need to confirm this, can anyone tell me for sure if a spoofed drive will work on the dash that doesn't have ap2.5 checks  ?  where u update with kinect games an few other games...

i really need to know this, since my drive is spoofed i have no use for lt+ right now.

Success. NFS:HP booting on BenQ with LT+ and image patched with AP2.5 patch.

Before anyone asks...you MUST patch any AP2.5 backup game with the appropriate AP2.5 patch otherwise LT+ will not boot it.  It will recognize the disc and even show you what it is, but it will NOT boot it.
