Is it possible to update Benq with Xtreme to LT+?

Yes of course..

Just for a little good info people:
Hitachi drives can boot all ap2.5 titles.. I have tried with both 0079 and 0047 so it seems that all hitachi's can do this and not just the old revision models! of course not safe online, but it works.

Guys im new to this...just to make things clear...I have a liteon 7 series

1. updated from stock to ix 1.6 (modder did not give me any key)
2. Updated from 1.6 to Lt1.0 (modder gave me my Lite_CFW.bin and Dummy.bin)

I do not need to do the mra method rite??

Updating from 1.6 to lt+ you just use open try and dummy bin in jungle flasher.

I done this last night and all working.

Lt1 to lt+ I think you need mra method

Lt1 to lt+ I think you need mra method

if you don't have the key, then you will need to do MRA when updating from LT to LT+

Thats why every totorial, person or whatever sais you need to BACKUP your dummy or OFW.
Once you have that, updating is a piece of cake

Spoofed drives are not safe online.

Also, all AP 2.5 games won't work on new dash on spoofed drives.

Best thing you can do is buy a spare lite-on drive (no matter what version) and flash it with the proper LT+ lite-on firmware

If you read the previous posts in this thread you will learn that yes LT+ works with spoofed drives but you will be detected by M$ and be banned.

Now something I haven't seen answered yet: How does one go about reading AP 2.5 data from a disk to make a patch (since you cant rip games with the AP 2.5 data yet)?

yes

Spoofed drives are easily detectable

also, AP2.5 games check for the original drive on the mainboard, then check it with the drive itself. Since this is a mismatch for spoofed drives, those games do NOT boot

All Liteon PCBs are the same apart from the firmware.

Just write the v9 LT+ on your new v7 (ignore the warnings from JF about stuff not matching)

MS will never know.
