in my haste i forgot to properly label (my major flaw anytime) an now I need to tell where the yellow an white wires go.

Does there placement matter? From the looks of the top they just ground some connections but I want to be positive. an I dont want to have to open my 7series to check

I believe that the area where you solder the cables is labeled with a Y or Yellow, just solder them in the right area.

For each set I believe that its the one that's farthest away goes on left and the one thats closer to the solder point goes on the right.

The reason there is two yellow wires and two white wires is because it does not matter what wite wire goes on what white pad.

So starting at the small ribbon connector

Any Yellow
The other Yellow
Any White
The other white
Red
Black.
