What can I say... the method to bypass AP2.5 protection that I was talking about earlier, already spread through XBOX360iso, and people are confirming it really works.
Props to Luigi Marconi of ixtrememod.wordpress for discovering this.
It's a sequence of updates of the dash, that install the kinect dash without any AP2.5 check, and works with any DVD drive.

Did anyone read the above post!!!!  This method above absolutely works.. I just did it and can play all AP 2.5 games with Lite-on 1.2

i got a Samsung with v1.0 LT firmware and NFS:HP (which is AP2.5 AND FORCES the new update to play it) works perfectly fine from a backup disc (i copied the game to hard drive to).

so my point is... is those people that are 'hit or miss' maybe running iXtreme instead of LT? (because i am not 100 percent sure but i think anything besides LT might not work)

Yes, there's an english translation already.
I'm not sure where to post it. But it works 100%. Tested already by hundreds. You need to have not updated to the kinect dash (not even the beta).

So, what c4eva said, is that samsung drives are not tested yet, or he will start working on them after the releasing of the LT+?

i am pretty sure he meant that the 0800 firmware, which is used to rip games using a Samsung MS25/MS28 drive, currently does not support ripping the games with the proper SS for AP2.5.

so his 'not to begin with' might suggest that down the road he might make a firmware for the drive that allows proper ripping of AP2.5 games.

p.s. currently if your running LT v1.0 on a Samsung system you CAN use AP2.5 games. i am running the new need 4 speed hot pursuit and it runs fine (it forces the update to play it to) on my Samsung system. so at least as far as offline use your safe on a Samsung system with newest dashboard.
