is there any hacking/modding around for this game?  Is it possible to use cars for my the computer game?

at the current moment, no, due to the file format incompatibility of several files.  I have a long thread of stuff I tested but haven't updated it in a while due to lack of time.  If you see anything in there I missed I'd like to get some vehicle mods/track re-skins runnning as well.
