right i have no probe or ck3.

jungle flasher (referred to as JF from now on) detects the drive fine.

i just need the dvdkey.

i am using my xbox to power the drive

now i have researched this for days and basically confused myself a little, and i am looking for clarification

i believe This or This would work.

i have a serial port on my computer, which i believe shows up as COM1 in JF. from my research on the subject. i need PIN 2 from the serial cable connecting to TX on the chip and the outgoing TX to the r707 hole.

i found this on pinouts that uses the max232 chip, please could you refer to this if what i said above was wrong
