Hey..

I just tried to change hitachi 47dj to another 47dj.. ran into bunch of problems, but finally managed to flash the new drive.

Final  procedure something like read thefirmware from the old drive -> flashed ixtreme to newdrive -> auto spoofed it with the old firmware.

So okay... the old drive wasn't actually reading discs. Only now and then.. But the new drive seems to do the same thing. Is Is it even possible to get it flashed imperfectly, in a way that it reads discs now and then? If they key is wrong or so.. it shouldn't play at all, right?

So any idea what could cause the problem? Some mobo related thing?

edit: oh and i wanna add.. it only recognizes originals.
