Well, you may have been flagged for some reason, but there is no way you can be flagged for "failing AP25 challenge" without trying to boot an AP25 title. You obviously have been flagged for some other reason.

Does the new dash incorperate old stealth checks offline maybe? So if you play an old game that has not been correctly ss patched, yo get the flag?

Sorry if it's been answered already, but I'm in desperate need here :/

I fucked up and installed the Kinect-dashboard on my flashed Arcade LiteOn-360, and now everytime I insert a profile, it gets corrupted.

Checked the serial with XVal, and it showed as "AP25 check failed". I haven't had my x360 online for a year, I've actually added a sticker over the ethernet-port on the back to seal it tongue.gif Have not plugged it LIVE since, and wasn't planned on ever doing it, since I have another 360 that are not flashed..

My question though, is; Is there any hope - now or later - that I will be able to deflag/unflag my x360, since it has not been online, but been flagged offline? Or is there a hardware-limit somewhere? I really want to keep updating my gamerscore.. :/

Regards!

I think not because I assume your xbox is not jtaggable since you have the latest updates.  No Jtag means you can't access the nand to clear the values.

In that case the Xval wont return "failed AP25 challenge".

Agreed. But I was just speculating on why the gal who had only played saw 1 was flagged. She didn't say it was the ap2.5 fail and I just wondered if the new dash could detect a non stealth backup of an older game, or are those checks still only carried out on live?

That's what I think. He/she may be banned/flagged but for some other reason than AP25.

I got a (really) dumb question.

I have the 9199 dash and want to play the new Need for Speed. What can I do with a flashed drive to play it from a Verbatim Duallayer Disc.

Must I wait until a new CFW comes out?
Will this problem persist with the original media so that I cannot play it?

Wait for LT+ like everyone else without a JTAG.

Hitachi 78K: ixtreme 1.51

System was never connected to the internet.  Updated to new kinect dash off of game disc.

Attempted to load AC:B, erroneously assuming my hitachi was old enough to not support ap2.5.

Xval 2.0 result after AC:B:   "Failed AC25 Challenge"

Xval decrypted value:  000000000001   (not sure how many zeroes to be exact, but essentially a 1 value)

profile is not corrupt and I can still play all my current games with saves working correctly.  Save files are not corrupted either.

From what I gather so far from reading this thread, I cannot reset my Xval to clean status since I cannot jtag because of updating to the new dash?  Is there any other way at all to fix the xval?

No, you're screwed. LT+ will most likely not be released for Hitachi, considering hitachi's didn't make it past 1.61 ixtreme... and C4eva stated some hitachi's are incapable of ap2.5...

Buy a new drive, (liteon or samsung) and use that when LT+ is out.

But since you never connect to the internet... Does it even matter?
if you do care about live...

your only reliable option would be to buy a slim... wait for LT+... the go online like a bitch all day long till your ass explodes of excitement.

If I move my HDD to a new unflagged console, can I continue playing all my gamesaves?  Will my profile and gamesaves corrupt on the new unflagged console?  Again, I never connected my xbox to the internet and is only flagged in my console's nand xval, which not save in my HDD or profile right?

Hello all,

Newly registered user here, but I have a question that's been eating at me for a good while. I've read through most of the posts in this thread. Someone mentioned flashing their xbox back to the OFW and then updating to the new dash; my question is if I do this and then play an ORIGINAL copy of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, will the console be flagged? I plan on making one of my consoles a "safe-online-legit" console, and hopefully the other will be for copied games (all the while avoid ap2.5 to see if can also keep its online capability until LT+).

In short, has anyone tested or can confirm Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (or other ap2.5 games) working on a console that has been flashed to the original/stock firmware, updated to the kinect dash, and then using an original-legal-legit copy of an AP2.5 game without getting flagged? Thank you in advance for any replies!

Will be fine, why wouldnt it? You're effectively returning it to standard, as long as you arn't already flagged for another reason.

Thank you mattjk. I'm just a super-paranoid guy, that's why I asked lol. Have you done this yourself? It'd just reassure me that it's fine if someone has actually done this.

Does a retail copy of games with AP2.5 not boot on ixtreme-flashed drives?
