That info came from genuine xbox user just thought people should know as I updated to new dash knowing I weren't going to play any newer games and C4Eva states dash is safe! Have instructed both my son and daughter to stay offline and not do the new dash till LT+ is released then I can re-flash their consoles hopefully before christmas as my daughter is getting a kinect. There are never any guarantees as to what flags your console for banning whether it be game, update etc, Thats why I thought i'd check on my console before my kids as I very rarely even go online not into all the online games.. Sorry if people dont like my info but thats how we all learn from each other and theres been no similar reports probably due to the fact that thanks to C4eva we got the info early enough and those that weren't as stupid and curious as me didn't go online and didn't do the update therefore no flag!!

It is SAFE to update to the new dash. It's NOT safe to try and play AP25 games such as Fable 3 and Assassins Creed:Brotherhood.

Looks like AC Brotherhood will be added to AP 2.5 check list. Confirmed by ABGX.

can you remove the systemupdate folder from the .iso and reburn without that to see if it works?

You can remove it with Xbox Image Browser, but getting it back to an iso is what im having an issue with. ive used creator iso to get it back to a 360 iso but abgx comes up with a bunch of red flags on it. Not sure what im doing wrong.

Since now i have the AC Brotherhood extracted as a folder im going to ftp it over to a jtag and see what the end result is. Weird thing is in iso forms its 7.29 GB  and when you extract it comes up as 6.45 GB. Thats where when getting it back to an iso abgx comes up saying its xxxxxx bytes short.

Yea JoParsons, you're information is wrong. I know someone who updated to the new dashboard with LT and hasnt played Fable 3 or any new games and xval reports clean status. I know someone who updated AND played Fable 3 before the information go tto them and their secdata shows ap2.5 challenge... so it ISNT updating to new Kinect dash that flags you.

removing the $systemupdate does nothing.  the game will still ask for an update in order to play and will return to the xbox dashboard.

[game extracted to external with xbox image browser.]

So why was my console flagged after doing the dash when the last game I played was SAW 1 I very rarely play on xbox as there are not many games that I actually like plus dont have much time with being full time mum.. My console status was clean before i did the update yet within 5 mins of doing update status shows error maybe the AP25 is active in older games too not completly sure how it works all I know is that I have not played anything since SAW 1 and my console is flagged according to Xval2.0. I was just suggesting maybe its much safer to wait till LT+ before going online or updating to dash. Its due to reading forums and everyone saying new dash is safe as long as new games are not played that I updated and am now flagged.

Well, you may have been flagged for some reason, but there is no way you can be flagged for "failing AP25 challenge" without trying to boot an AP25 title. You obviously have been flagged for some other reason.
