I'm not sure, but I would say most likely the 78/79 revisions since they were the latest revisions and were way different from the older ones.

we are all already confirmed that 46 and 47 hitachis dont have ap 2.5 but since i readed some cases of ppl with hitachi 78 that claimed they are playing fable 3 after update... then...
can someone confirms if hitachi 59dj have AP 2.5 or not? (cause 59dj is older than 78)

I have 59dj with iextreme 1.51 or whatever for offline only, haven't connected to live on this console in a year or two so don't know if banned or not (use another non-mod for online/XBLA play).

X value was clean in Xval w/ 9199 dash.  Installed Kinect dash downloaded from MS website, tried Fable 3, tried ACB. X value didn't change after any of those actions - still identical to first X value I wrote down so still clean.

Here is mine....

Hitachi 79 (fl), non-banned xbox, running ix1.6, latest dash update got via Live.

Plays Fable III and , AC:B backups perfect. XVAL still shows as clean.

trying to get this out to as many places as possible....this is info for ppl w/ a hitachi 78/79 that have had problems loading ACB or NFS (if you haven't had any problems then you probably did a flash drive update for your system rather than a disc update)

i did a disc install of the new dashboard weeks ago and haven't had a problem with any of the games (fable included) but a threw in ACB and was having the same issues as everyone else.

eventually i read that someone had success playing ACB (with a hitachi 79) installing the new dash off a flash drive. so i tried that and it WORKED. so if anyone with a hitachi 78/79 does a reinstall of the new dash off a drive you SHOULD be able to play the games...

good luck....pass it on biggrin.gif

Xbox 360 Elite with Hitachi 79FL drive:

- Updated via XBox live (before the drive was flashed with iXtreme).
- Console is not banned.
- AP2.5 backups work perfectly.
- SecData still clean.

Sorry if this is a newb question, but I have a 79fl drive, with ixtreme 1.51 flashed on it. I have not updated to the new dash yet, because of being scared. Are people getting banned with these drives with this FW flashed on it?

Is it safe for me to update, is there a best way to update(such as flash drive, or xbl)?

From what I have read, it is safe to update, but have to be careful with new AP2.5 games.

Just looking for some answers, thanks guys.

Thanks for the great info!
