What are your guys thoughts on this:

It seems that people with Ixtreme no stealth FW's are able to update to the new dash and boot fable just fine but people with the LT firmwares are having issues.

Thoughts?

Microsoft dont ban individual consoles separately, they do large amounts at once. You are a gigantic idiot for playing what I can only assume is a pirate copy of Black Ops, so early before it's official release date. (playing games before they are actually released is the best way to get banned btw)
You are not banned now, but you could very well be flagged now and will become banned when MS do this years round of bannings.

Whats a little weird is the black ops disc doesnt copy to my jtag properly - seems to copy it as a dvd? bit odd.

Works fine for me, the game is awesome till I got to Vietnam, now it's a mess. COD Black Ops contains 9199 update and is Wave 6. Doesn't apply.

You guys are funny.  You want a definitive way to find out if ap2.5 is on the game disc, boot it on the new dash.  Yes I know individuals don't want to risk their boxes, but I don't think it's going to take much rocket science to find out if it has ap2.5 built in or not.  Also, they can't "push" nothing over live thats going to update older titles that didn't come with 2.5 on them. If it's the "disc" that's talking back and its not rewritable, its never going to respond to the new dash's checks.  If that was the case then all they would of needed to do is a dash update.. les a le bon ton roulet

I'm no expert on AP2.5, but I have a high level of confidence that Microsoft can (and will) "push" challenges over Live with AP2.5, perhaps even with older discs.  The question is, can these checks be defeated by pre-calculating the responses, like SSv1 & SSv2 do?

I'm also going to speculate that the 360s with Samsung & early Hitachi drives that cannot respond to AP2.5 challenges will increase in value.

After reading all these posts, i dont see any info on this question....

Liteon latest LT, if i update and play the retail kinect games that are coming with my kinect order, is there more then the usual risk of ban?

also any games backups that were successfully patched by abgx360 prekinect dash, are they at greater risk now for be banned?

also any games backups that were successfully patched by abgx360 prekinect dash, are they at greater risk now for be banned?   Conservative answer, yes.  My opinion, no, unless you're playing Fable 3.
