But no, you will not have to re-flash your drive... until a new firmware comes out that circumvents the ap2.5 thingymajig so games like fable 3 will play.

So does backups of fifa 09 play on the new dash?

Currently C4eva only found the challenges and responds for Fable 3. No one knows if they will have new ones for each game or dynamic challenges if you go online. M$ had been working on AP25 for a year (fifa09) so there must be more to AP25 than just a few new challenges.

Also Black Ops leak doesn't seem to have AP25 on it. Which is odd since it's one of their flag ship games.

Well that's the big question really isn't it.

MS have had this for over two years now by the way since FIFA '09 was released in '08 and the technology likely existed way before that.

I wouldn't touch the Black Ops leak with a 15 meter long pole by the way, even the nfo for the now nuked scene release of it advises users against it since the source was likely ripped from whoever knows what by some idiot with a Kreon.

we are all already confirmed that 46 and 47 hitachis dont have ap 2.5 but since i readed some cases of ppl with hitachi 78 that claimed they are playing fable 3 after update... then...
can someone confirms if hitachi 59dj have AP 2.5 or not? (cause 59dj is older than 78)

Just one quick question:
I played Fable 3 with the old Dashboard. XVal is still clean. If I don't start Fable 3 again, can I update the Dashboard and play some Monday Night Combat today without getting banned? Did they ban some people the old way?

EDIT: Ok I read some threads now and the answer to my first question should be YES.

Admit it guys MS has you by the balls.  You now have to wait to play fable3 etc.  Seems to me it's behind the curve to have a flashed firmware if you have to wait to play the latest and greatest.  So now you have to wait even longer for the masterminds to fix it before you can play it.  I am all for back ups.  But if that is really why you have your firmware flashed.  Then why don't you play the original?  I mean if you have it surely you can put it in your drive and use it until they fix this.  To all the pirates, SUCK IT! *Puts Fable3 in 360 and plays it, wow look at that it works, no flashing no worrying about updates, Ahhh...  Seriously if you can't afford games, maybe you should not be playing them, instead, better your education and get better jobs, then you can afford all the games you want.  Don't get me wrong I love this site and everything that goes with it.  But this trying to beat MS is getting very very very old.

While I agree with you somewhat, as I am a self-ripper myself.  I should point out that the pirates you're insulting for having to wait to play the "latest and greatest" Fable 3, are passing the time while playing Call of Duty: Black Ops right now.  You win some, you lose some.

I have an unbanned system with hitachi 59 drive. Xval reported clean secdata before dash update. updated to kinect dash. Backup up Fable 3 loads fine with ssv2. Also loaded a backup of fallout New Vegas which I ripped that is ssv1. Fallout loads fine. Checked secdata after loading both games. Secdata is clean. So I'm assuming Hitachi 59 with Ixtreme 1.51 firmware doesn't have AP2.5.

So do backups still work on the new dash? I read fable 3 wasnt working on the beta.

I dont care if its not live safe I just want to know if Ill have to reflash 10 360s just to continue playing backups (offline)

-Flashed Philips with iXtreme 1.61 lt
-Updated to New Kinect Dashboard
-Play Fable 3 ORIGINAL or another AP 2.5 ORIGINAL (maybe all new Kinect games)

1.-That get's me banned?
2.-Or only the copied games (Fable 3 and AP 2.5) are in warning of banning?
3.-Somebody knows if Rock Band 3 have AP 2.5?

i have a banned ofline xbox with iextreme 5 fimware, and use ppf patcher,
upgraded dash to kinect.and every thing works as usual even fable 3, and black ops,but im pondering wether to buy the kinect,in case it doesent work with the iextreme5 firmware,
