Would the best method to update to new dash on Lite-on LT not banned, be offline using update on USB?

Ok I have 2 console, one an elite one an arcade.  Both have lite-on drives flashed with LT.  I have played Fable 3 on the elite console ALOT.  The arcade has never seen this game.  I have NOT updated.

My question is can I contribute some knowlede by checking the Xval or whatever it is.  I havnt been interested in doing this in the past but if it will help I would gladly do it.

The X: Value is an encrypted string of letters and numbers (hex) stored on your xbox and is specific only to Your xbox. It is useful in conjunction with Xval 2,0 program to see if YOUR xbox has been flagged.

I have a question as to the ban flagging being set by playing Fable:

If i have a 360 with modded FW,  (and not already flagged for ban)

 - I create a full backup of my nand
 - download new dash, play fable OFFLINE!
 - after i finish the game (or get bored with it), restore Nand

in theory i am assuming my 360 will be back to its old dashboard ready to download again therefore preventing a ban ?

Am i correct in this logic ?

Or just get a new xbox to play your originals on and another one to play your backups on.

I created a backup of Fable 3 from my own copy using a benq drive I had lying around, I used the Ixtreme 1.6 firmware on the benq in 0800 mode to get a pure backup copy from my original using backup creator. Does anyone know if this will work with the new dashboard? Or will it not work like the scene releases etc. Thanks

Or just play it till you get bored then update your dash after?? As it only gets flagged when using the new dash.

The reason i was asking if this procedure works is to verify that restoring the nand would clear any flags,

one more question, is the flag set in the Key vault area or other portion of the nand ?

Same thing is happening as last year. Although we have a little more knowledge, we are falling into the same trap. M$ will not start banning now. Let everyone update and think they are safe then 2 weeks from now.. BAM! Let the ppl in the know do their thing, instead of constantly asking whether this or that... The thing here is to WAIT. If u can't, then go ahead and update, play FABLE3, BO etc ... Don't be then spamming threads with I just got banned, why?????

Thanks for news, but theres 1 unknown thing yet. If my console is already flagged (by AP25 challenge), will be possible to run new games (Fable 3 and others) after LT+ is released? Maybe smb found solution how to unflag console (flashing with orig FW on the board, or smthing), if so plz post it.

dump the nand and replace the newest secdata.bin with an older secdata.bin, that should work.
