Just to update, I have a liteon drive and 1.1 software. The retail version of Fable 3 does not work on this setup. It gets flaged as an unreadable diske. However the console has not been flagged.

Tried NFS HP, checked with xval says AP25 failed.

Xbox live still works.

If I get banned in future,
then if i update to new firmware lt+
then will I be able to play NFS and other games backups including newer ones AP25?

just finished reading this thread (and many others) i have a few question?

does it matter when i flashed my drive? i have the new dashboard (kinect) and then a few days later i flashed my liteon 78450c to the latest 1.1 firmware

i assume i can play all originals (inc fable 3 and NFS:HP) but not backups of ap2.5 games

i havent connected to xbox live since i updated the firmware (did this on monday)

i dont play games online, i only download dlc/games updates)

if i never go online with it ever again can i play the backups of NFS:HP and fable3 now or do i have to wait untill LT+

one post states that i can play them but never go online or i will be banned and my files corrupt. another says it will corrupt my files without needing to go online.

which of those statements is true

yes. you will just have to play kinect offline.

I heard some time ago that you need to be connected to Live to hook up and configure Kinect Sensor. Is that correct? Or maybe that (Live) was needed just to download the new Dash and all the rest can be configured offline?

So even retail copies of fable 3 will not boot on ixtreme drives?  I have a hitachi 78k with ie 1.51 and it was not able to boot AC:B backup copy.  I also got a console flagged xval "Failed AP25 Challenge"

So, I read most of this thread, but not all of it.  Just want to let you know about my situation and then possibly ask a few questions.

I have a 360 with a BenQ drive flashed with ixtreme 1.4 i believe.  This console has been offline and unbanned since the Forza 3 fiasco last year (when my gamertag got banned).  It was likely flagged, which is why I kept it offline.  I also have a new slim 360 which has original FW and I use for originals and Live.  I had been using a flash drive to move my profile between consoles.  

So my BenQ 360 has the newest dash (installed via flash drive) and booted Fable 3 fine and The Sims 3 fine.  So, I kind of figured AP2.5 had no effect on my Ixtreme 1.4 flashed drive.  However, last night i tried to boot NFS:HP and got the dirty disc message.  Now, my profile gets corrupted when going from flashed system to the slim 360 (as expected, i suppose).  

So now the questions...

1.  Any idea why Fable 3 and Sims 3 worked fine on the system, but NFS:HP messed it up?

2.  Does it have something to do with SSV2 vs SSV3?  See, I dont know much about SSV2/3 and am not even sure which versions Fable 3/Sims 3/NFS:HP are.  If one AP2.5 game worked fine, why did the other not?

3.  Also, I've ordered a used 360 with a Samsung drive.  If this is kept offline and flashed with LT1.0, it should be safe to play AP2.5 games (offline of course), correct?  I believe it was mentioned that Samsung 360's skip the AP2.5 checks.  I just dont want it to get to a state where it corrupts my profile.

That can be tested right now btw. If some1 have drive flashed with any iXtreme FW, original Fable 3 and copy of it would be very helpful if he would:
1. Update console with new dashboard.
2. Launch Fable 3 COPY (it wont run of course).
3. Check flag status (using Xval 2.0, entering console serial number and X: value //everything can be found in Dashboard - Settings->System Data, or something like that, console should be flagged).
4. Launch ORIG Fable 3.
5. Check flag status again.

AP25 check would be performed again then maybe console will be unflagged + we will know is it possible to launch new games with flagged console.

Can/Did anyone test this theory out?  Is it possible to unflag the "Failed AP25 Challenge"?

I have a flashed BenQ that has failed AP25 but never been online.  The console is corrupting profiles like it was banned already.   what can be done about this, anyone else experience this besides me and the guy earlier?

You don't have LT+ v1.1?
