After reading this I have updated my console via USB method, and chucked in my back up copy of Fable 3 as a tester, of course it failed, to read the disk. Now I have been online for some time now and still no flag/ban code has appeared, so it appears the offline method seems to have worked this time around. :S

Did you use the xval program to check if you've been flagged? I never saw where it said you will be "banned", only flagged. As far as anyone is concerned, flagging consoles is the only known step this ap2.5 does as well as make the game "Fable 3" fail to boot.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm here to learn.

after reading through the last 20 pages i am some what confused.  i have an old 1st gen with samsung m25 and LT FW.  i have not played fable 3, not my kind of game.  xval always shows clean as i check when ever i come off line.  all games are ripped with old sammy m28 and checked with abgx.  i do not play on line, but do get a lot of DLC for games.  will i be safe to update to new dash and go online to get undead nightmare.  i almost sure i will be fine, but you guys always know for sure.  thanks for the help.

I believe Samsung drives work only if they are not spoofed...

Just play the retail game disk preferably on a non modded console and you will be fine.

Running Hitachi 78k and got flagged "Failed AP25 Challenge" Xval.  Guess there is no way to undo it?  Load an official copy of the same game to make it pass AP25 challenge?

I haven't connected my xbox to internet since the update and the update was done from the game disc too.  So I know that it's only flagged in the console right now and not server side with M$.

Xval code was something like this: 00000000000001  (not sure of the number of zeros, but essentially a '1' value)

Was it AC:B that got you flagged? Can you still load up the games offline? Any ideas if your profile is corrupted?
Sorry for all the questions got about a million of them at the mo. I have a 0078 that stays offline but i switch my profile between that and my LT elite for online. Both have clean secdata so far. I really wanna see AC:B.

I don't suppose that someone could confirm whether Sims 3 has AP2.5? ...everyone on ixtreme.net forums claims that  it does?... if no one can officially confirm i shall just run it through the new abgx... cheers guys!!
