Just made the mistake of updating to new kinect firmware and played Fable 3.....
Now i'll probably get banned.

BUT MY FABLE 3 COPY IS NOT RUNNING ANY MORE!  

And i will not be able to play any AP25 anymore....

With LT+ from C4E it will be able to play AP25 games again on new dashboard ?

Really? As if you did not even know this was going to happen even after seeing all the news that it would?

No you wont likely be able to play any new ap 2.5 games any more and you have nobody to blame but yourself.

mmm are u sure about that? when lt+ come and will be flashed in console that is already updated and already flagged all ap 2.5 games will wont work also with the lt+ firmware?

sorry for my bad english, i ask only if is true what ranger 72 say that u cant run ap 2.5 games also if u will have lt+ fw, if u have already updated the dash before flash with lt+ and try to run fable 3 ora any others ap2.5 games

I don't think it matters which firmware you have. If you try to run a backup of an AP 2.5 game from the new dash, it won't boot. Unless maybe you are fortunate enough to have the samsung or hitachi incapable of checking AP 2.5.

Pretty sure that once the console is flagged it wont load any ap2.5 games even after LT+.

What makes you say that? All the flag does is flag your for a potential ban. The flag wont stop games booting at all. Otherwise ap2.5 originals wouldnt run either.

Read from the beginning of the thread. Yes once the console is flagged for the ap2.5 ban it does in fact block any games with ap2.5 from being able to load.

This is what the big deal is about this new security. It used to be that when you got banned you could not connect to Live. Then last year came and when the bans happened you not only could not connect to Live but you also could no longer do things like install games onto the hard drive anymore. now this year they have found a way to block ap2.5 games from loading.

Old games that dont support ap 2.5 will still load however after the ban.

If you update to the new dash, all AP 2.5 games will stop working. If you try to run one, you will be flagged. I don't think anyone knows what will happen with the LT+ firmware until it's released. If you're flagged, you get banned. You might still be able to play the games with LT+, but you won't be able to play online again. Microsoft is known for causing issues when they ban you. They could quite possibly cause your console to not be able to play AP 2.5 games.

I myself had 2 of them.

last time one of my 360 went on live .... but this ap25 thing seems to be a pain in my side reguarless as people update without thinking should i do this lol

I've heard the opposite to be true

people with Fable 3 retail + Latest Dash = doesn't load

Well if you have a banned box like mine and failed the ap2.5 check and its true that all future ap2.5 games will be blocked we might as well either do the disk swap method or use the "stealth eject chip"
