New Games Working: Fable 3, Vanquish
Old Games Working: ?
Games Not Working: ?
Firmware : ix 1.51
Online / Offline Console : Offline
Banned: Yes '09
Xval results: Banned

Registered just to add to the list of hitachis... Was playing fable 3 pre 12611 and waited to update my
box until I finished the main story. Did not reinstall fable to usb 16GB stick, will uninstall and attempt to play
from disc only to see if that makes a difference.
Edit1: Just tried Fable 3 from disc and booted fine no problems played for a min. Will Try Vanquish disc only as I read a
few posts back that it might not be booting(maybe ap2.5 as well?)
Edit2:Added Vanquish to the working section as it booted fine and played fine, So I'm guessing hiatachis 79 (not sure what the
rest of the rom version is and can't be bothered to open my box any time soon) either didn't make the ap2.5 cut or just was missed
in the update by M$.

I read that a handful of times in this thread, I just figured 79s were of the newer not older, I don't really know
though.

Suggestion:

If you don't already own a Samsung MS28, then now is the time to get one..it may be loud but its safer.

Say not to these future possible AP2.5 checks and flash that Sammy with LT v1.0

Any suggestions to clear the RROD console's non volitile ram and see if I can at the same time purge the corruption that infected my nand firmware after it improperly took that buggy and massive 100mb 12611 kernel while it had a cheapo USB stick in it?

Can a RROD Falcon console that took this new buggy 12611 this week, be forced to load all over again the 12611 kernel when its saved properly to the root directory of a formatted USB thumbstick using the link provided?

I always do my dash upgrades via X-box live, but was curious if the RROD watch dog timer can be bypassed within 15 seconds if the console detects the "SystemUpdate12611" file that is correctly saved to a Fat32 formatted 'NON-MS" Magnavox or Kinsgston USB thumb stick and thus circumvent the RROD timer.

btw: error codes are a waste of time...they can give false feedback and I never trust them.

I am new on this forum, I have a few questions regarding AP 2.5 protection. I have read everything written about AP 2.5 protection of the new game, but we have not found the answer to my problems.
I have a xbox 360 with 1.4 FW (I know I have to update) with samsung DVD drive (lite-on replaced) , I use a wave patcher to patch my games to wave 2, using old dashboard, newer play online.

1.Can I play a new games (Fable 3, COD: BO) with old dashboard, using wave patcher without moving to a new dashboard?

2. If i update to the new dashboard will it disable playing old games on the existing FW?

3.I read that the Samsung drive is not recognized by AP 2.5 protection. So I have a samsung dvd drive (replaced lite-on) I'm I sure from activation AP 2,5 protection if I update to new dashboard?

I know these are stupid questions, but please someone responds

xval..secdata clean

other console it has a SAMSUNG drive ,& STATS are same as above ..so here is my delima i am really curious as it being a samsung drive what the outcome would be if i put fable 3 in this one..i am so tempted in the name of (should i say science)..but i really dont want to just bring on a ban..on my sons xbox..(as this one is pretty much his)but dammit i would really like to find out 1.will fable3 boot 2.will xval be clean..as this would answer so many questions as to what c4eva said about ap25 and samsung drives...but dangit..i just cant bring myself to put it in ther to see....but if i do i will def report back

Wire up the LPT to the computer and dump the nand, then test, if it is flagged, dump the nand back and Waaa-Laaa your box is no longer banned. Make sure you do this offine though!  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
In case you don't know how to dump your nand, just search before asking. There are tons of tuts online. And because I'm sure someone will ask, YES you can dump your nand even on a non-exploitable box.

I've seen this post in three other threads. I'm not intending this to be mean, but for future reference, it would be best to try your post in one thread before spaming.  I've responded to you in another thread, then came accross someone else responding to this same post in yet another completly different thread. So FYI, you should have your questions answered.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Sdeens, sorry to tell you this... the guys that got E71 after update via USB stick got that cause they used the link to be burned on CD not for USB i mean the one that comes with default.xex the default.xex is only for CD update not for USB. Thats cause some ppl got E71 after update, we track your nfo and investigate and made several tests on several consoles, and NO ONE GAVE E71 using the CORRECT systemupdate folder from MS website without default.xex file. Plus we tested it with several deifferent USB Sticks included kingston and lots of cheap chinese devices and we have NO ERRORS, NO BUGS, NO CRASHES adn ofcourse NO RROD!
So plz, make us a big favor... Accept that your console got RROD cause is a SHITTY FALCON!!! and STOP TROLLING!!!
And at least, if u want that someone here can really help you, give us the RROD ERROR CODE! ok?
THX AGAIN!!!

elcappo your are not the sharpest knife in the drawer and your knowledge of electroncis are not even in my league. You seem very amateurish and inexperienced. but if you keep insisting on stupid erros codes it is 0110 which has been reported in the past as simmilar to E20 error and non volitle ram errors.  If theram chios overheat they will demonstrate the cold solder bridge long before the E20 code by causing microfreezing duirng the games.  this falcon runs flawlessly withno freezing and my ram chis had new OEM sponge pads...but this 01010 (E20) erro can also be triggered i suspect when non volitile ram is corrupted ands that leads to an incomplete reflashign of the nand when the 12611 dash was reflased.

so as I originally suspected htis is not just a normal RROD but a bricked RROD with nand corruption caused by a failure in non volitle ram duign the nand's write session.  I have see this reproted before when the ram chips are either failing or the nand is imcompleted flashed..but one htign is certainf a new X-clamp replacement is not goignto help.

BTW:

ELCAPPO,
Next time be very careful with the links your posting for the $systemupdate12611 files.

You probably triggered inadverantly E71 in a few people's consoles who wanted to use the USB update method and that is your fault because you were sloppy and you posted the wrong link.

I would suggest NEVER taking advise from someone who makes that kind of sloppy mistake for something that critical.

And your wasting your time with error codes, I know them all and they change spontaneously like a Gecko's spots with no reason and they often lead you astray.

The safest way to load this masive 100mb 12611 dash udpate is ONLY via a burned CD and not over XBOX live and avoid using thrid party USB sticks if you can. If your internet craps out or burps at the wrong moment you risk a bricked RROD console.

Not sure if it's the only one but mine does have hdmi. My brother use to have a 78, I'll ask to see if he remembers
having hdmi.
