on the last dash i tryed to boot a game with usb stick in and it failed to boot i then tryed another game and did same i then took usb stick out i used to update the dash with then tryed a game and the game booted

Hey guys I have a good answer:

I have 2 Xbox360s:

1.  Offline Elite never been on Xbox Live with LiteOn 8xxxx Series - The firmware is 1.5v as I have to use activation disc to boot Wave 4 Ripped Games.
It has the first built of leaked Kinect Xbox 360 dashboard when the preview program started.
Fable 3 works without problems. (Installs and Plays)

2. Xbox 360 Elite - Registered-Officially in the Beta Program with Latest Update.
it has LiteOn 74xxx Series with LT firmware. ( I just paid someone to do it yesterday).
After the update the console was taken offline for good.
Fable 3 gives the Unrecognized Disc Error. (This Console has the Latest Build - Oct 26, 2010)

Something definitely is going on. Lastly when I booted Fable 3 my profile became corrupt and I had to re-download it form Xbox Live.

It sucks, I went through 5 DVDs thinking that was the problem. I now know it's defeinitely the new Dash or the game Fable 3, cause Halo Reach for example works fine.

those peeps who attempted to boot fable and failed are probably flagged for banning too.  you should check. I now have a Failed AP25 Challenge according to XVal 2.0

Yep, every one who cant boot Fable 3 please try XVal and post back.


My JTAG just switched itself off when I tried to boot the default.xex of Fable, but it works perfectly in a GOD.

Now that is useful info.  The corrupt profile is especially interesting.

Youre using a leaked copy of a game on a beta dash. Works for some, not others. If this was NEW PROTECTION, im sure everybody would be affected. Not just some. Get legit copy of the game, get the final release of the dash and try to boot.

Its just this game you're all talking about... What about other games??? You're all retarded

It seems like the newest betas of the Fall 2010 dashboard implemented AP25.  Who knows what other games they might use it for.

My brother is getting the disk error on his 360 even with the 2.0.9199.0 dash with fable 3 and fallout new vagas. He does not have the kinect beta installed.

It could be that he used "cheap" DVDs to burn the games.  Have him run XVal and see if he is flagged or not.

Well - people getting the security event "Failed AP25 Challenge" after playing fable 3 on new beta dash pretty much confirms that ap2.5 is now a reality.
