Confirmed, unrecognized disc.
So it probably has to do with some new protection, i cant imagine that MS wouldnt let people on the preview play 1 of their biggest games of the year.

And dont come with shit, you burned it wrong. I installed the game without a problem, still not booting.

What dvd drives and firmware do you guys have? And which rip of the game have you tried?

Someone on the previous page claims to have an original copy which they have backed up and played successfully on the new dash.

Has anyone else actually tried this or is all the fuss about the pirated Marvel copy??

Would be nice to get some clarity since the game should be released in the US today.

I would try myself, but the UK release is Friday.

I have heard a rumour about Tryarch doing the thing with Black Ops, not working on any type of modded console. But like said in the thread, until it is officially released we will see.

Now that appears to be bs. Only Fable 3 is affected so far, this is an MGS game so they may use it as a guinea pig to try any new protections out.

Could those guys that have the preview dash please try other recent MGS releases and report back.

Ok I'm in official beta, I have just received an update on my official beta console (non flashed drive). I am going to run a test on my box that hasn't been updated ( flashed box) to see it running then I'm going to plug my hard drive into it to updated to latest build of beta and see results, I will post video if test for all to see and make there mind up

The fact that some people can boot their backups on the leaked version proves that. The list of allowed users is not built into the dashboard. I am also on the official Beta test program...my system has no DVD drive though so I can't even play games on it.
 
 So far everything I have read in this topic points to this not being front page worthy news as nothing is confirmed yet about it. Also the fact that the game in question is Obviously a pirated/leaked version. why is it even being discussed here where their are strong anti-piracy rules...their is no question if you are playing Fable III that you downloaded it because it doesn't come out until tomorrow.
 What signature the one on the ISO ha ha...no you can definitely remove the system update folder on a non-Jtag modded system so that you don't update. You may need to rebuild the ISO afterwards but what signature exactly are you talking about breaking?

i work for a games retailer and my copy is original (perks of the job) and i didnt say it was built into the dashboard, when it connects to m$ servers the dash requests if u are a registered user of the beta dash or not.
if you arent registered on beta its bye bye live and all your channels except my xbox
