Hi everyone, I have a problem because when i connect the spear to the xtractor pro v2, the blue light becomes always blue, if i put it in the R707 it doesn´t change any color, it constantly maintains blue

Other thing is that when i try reading the 74850C's key, it says me bad serial data, although It recognise me the Liteon in windows, and ive also tried putting the spear into the R707 hole, and it says the same thing

I´m working on a Windows 7 64bits computer, and with jungleflasher 1.75

There is another problem and it is that the aditional funcionts check box, is always greyed and unchecked, there is no way of ungreying it

Anyone knows how to solve this?

Has this drive already been flashed? If so, just click "dummy from iextreme".

Noo it isnt a flashed drive, its a virgin one

I did it once, but the second time i plugged it with the red cable on 5

Is everything running as Administrator and have you turned "Driver Signing Enforcement" off i.e. F8 at boot?

64 bit is a bitch.

if also disabled Driver Signing Enforcement on the boot of windows, and its not working

Ive tried it on MSDOS, and when i execute dvdkey, it says me that theres no data from COM port

is your xtractor being recognised by JF on the DVDKEY32 tab you can see this in

com port properties on the same tab.  

if it is seen then hit the refresh button next to the com port drop down tab, ...

now change from com 1 to com?

whatever else is now listed

this should now give u a dencent key Irrelavent of if the spear is constantly blue

The xtractor is recognised by jf1.75 in COM4, and it says its ready

I have another port COM1, if i put it there it also dont work

Ive found another issue with the spear, if I power on the xtractor with the spear on R707, the blue light becomes less bright when i put the spear on R707, if I pull it out  of R707, it becomes mucho more brighter

Does the drive respond properly to the Xtractor? If you hit eject does it eject the drive?

Also be sure to eject the drive, power off the extractor, push it half way in, then power it back on. That solved the bad serial data issue for me.

The fact that the spear always has the blue LED is peculiar. Something may be shorting, are you positive it is connected like so:

Yes the spear is conecction is done as youve said

It continues telling me warning serial data is bad in windows, and in ms-dos, it says me that no data was tranfered to the port

The tray is half opened also, all the things should be in order!!! but it keeps annoying me with the error

Problem solved, my xtractor didnt come with a firmware in, so i installed xtractor 1.3FW in it and it worked
