I would have thought it would be better if in a proof-of-concept vid for FW then it should show
A:Cables running between. AV and mobo
B:The open tray window pane that clearly indicates drive state making it otherwise nearly irreifutable.
I guess any press is good press eh?

u would think .. for a FW in testing... why would the console be cased back up ... wouldnt u want to keep it open so u can take the drive out.. hook it up to the pc.. do some work.. re hook it back later?..

jeeze the suspense is killing me...when will the method to get it to read backups be released....from the looks of this vid, don't mind everyone scrutinise it with a fine tooth comb....I know that "team xecuter" says it will not be in a modchip form....but from the looks of it....it might be something like it....just my two cents

Microsoft changed their minds on that and went with a cheaper option - they simply hid a really really realllly small midgit in there with a small disposable camera, the idea being that as soon as the case is opened he snaps off a couple of photos then LEAPS! out and runs off back to Microsoft. No news on wether these guys managed to catch him or not yet.

Yup, that's what I noticed. They didn't leave it on the game tray icon when inserting or ejecting the disc so all you can see is the silly, little avatar. Can't see their hands and if there is more than one controller being used and the camera doesn't pan to show the entire TV setup where another 360 could reside. Has all the signs of being a fake.

About 18 months ago they made up some rubbish that the Xbox 360 was fully hacked and showed a screenshot of a 500GB drive (on the dashboard settings it showed a 500GB drive)...and they said a fully hack was on the way to the public soon.

They were talking out their arse and it was a complete fabrication. That sort of hack didn't come around till jtagging was possible a year later which was completely unrelated as the hack that enables jtagging wasn't discovered until way after.

...Wouldn't say they are outright liers, just a bunch of fools who can't hack for shit on proper stuff and are better at ripping people off selling overpriced modding bits...thus it's possible they could have been tricked and just swallowed it like most "news" sites do. In all honesty who can blame them, it brings loads of people to their site to sell more stuff.

I'm not really decided either way. it's most likely true imo...but the above could be a reason it's not.

you notice in the vid you dont see the disc channel ?!?!?
why dont they show this ?
they always leave it on the next channel acorss
you dont see it say reading or whatever when they put the disc in as its in the next channel to the right again.
