Yeah, A lot of work before public consumption:

Step 1 - Make work without original under backup...

team-xecuter are shooting blanks when it comes to 360 work, all their statements have been BS. I remember their talk about a 'hello world' that the jtag team brought us via the kk exploit. their talk of tools to revolutionize the modding business - when in fact they are all clones from other devs. When they stole and tweaked the xbox chips they were top dog, with this 360 stuff they are lack-lustering any PR they can. Guess soon enough people will see the truth though.. just like with the PS3 OtherOS stuff and the 360 bannings.

Seems to reason if 2 discs are in a drive tray and the cog is holding them firmly (bet it sounded wonderful - thanks for that audio-over) they would statically charge and vacuum themselves together in a tray. The cog has to be very strong to do something like that... holding 2 discs together to get the spin rate to reach 12x via just a magnet is some talent.

Guess when they shoot another video with the xbox apart, DVD tray apart, and we can see the backup spinning and the 360 crashing when the disc is ejected I'll believe. I have no doubt that the 360s is no more secure than any previous 360 model though.

Yeah, I figured I'd get called an idiot or noob and attacked like in the rest of this topic before someone decided to actually look up the facts.

I wasn't going to do that to you but i was going to ask you what your source was.

I wonder how they connect it to the PC?
What interface is the drive anyhow? SCSI?
There sure is alot of of data lines in the ribbon cable that connects it to the console. Too many for me to think it is just sata.

Last off topic post:  It's not SATA, probably IDE.  I picked up the info from a site that translated the link you provided.

Back on topic:  Everyone yells fake til its released, there really isnt any valid reason to suspect its not legit seeing who's releasing the info about it.  I have a reason to get a Slim in the future.

sorry to throw the topic even more off....but anyone have the video of the very first xbox 360 that got hacked and it was on youtube and did anyone remembered how alot of people said that was the most fake video they ever see?....who can remember that?...cause IMHO...even though team xecuter (if I spelt it right) claimed on the video that the slim is running backups...how come they never have the slim open, with the drive's mechanism and laser exposed running the backup of the game......hmmmmmmm *gear in head turning*

C4E posted the other day on Mirc that he was making progress on it, so why would he lie about it too?  This is from the guy that has done every firmware since the 360 has been hacked, so what does he have to gain by lying?

I think this is going way to far from team junlge lovers and haters LOL, while i myself don't like much of what team jungle (meaning c4e) has done in the past with his shady business tactics, and all , we now have a confirmation of the things we knew all along, that C4E is trying to make money from his product, and this is confirmed with his recent association with team xecuter, which is ok by me I could care less if he earns money with his work, but if he wanted money why not ask for donations, I bet that would be a lot of people that would donate from the great job that he has done, and screwing is own team is not a good tactic either, that is why he is alone now, but i have to say this hack is real, it has to be there is money involved now, its a business, he is working for team Xecuter he cracks the dvd firmwares and makes it in a way, that the only way you would be able to use his hack is by buying one of team Xecuter's tools, its as simple as that.
Yes its hacked will it be free? probably yes, but you will probably have to buy some tool from team xecuter to flash the firmware.
People should appreciate what team jungle has done, but stop kissing ass, that is what i see in most of the posts on this thread, They weren't first hackers to hack the xbox drive who remebers the specialist?? yeah thats right most of you don't, if team jungle doesn't hack some one will, they are not the almighty hackers.
Let us just wait for the release date, and please stop screaming fake at every video you see.

Off topic
yeah the ps3 drive is connected and recognized by the PC, no its not hackable, the firmware inside is encrypted so no can do LOL

someday someone will create a wrapper like "WINE" and we'll be able to drop and use any pc program on the 360

i can't wait for a full hardware unlockd 360 so i can install vista as a second OS to play PC and 360 games on the same machine...

HAHA microsoft would be so pissd

-----------------------

1 you only have to buy a hacking tool if your not a real hacker.. people like i bust out our trusty toolbox full of resistors a multimeter and other EE tools and we do our own work.. yo the MRA hack takes 5 MINS to setup and remove.. not counting flashing time..(shit it takes longer than that to add a LPC rebuild to a 1.6 XB1)

2 i think they have a modchip for the ps3 drive but im not sure.. but then u will also need a $200 bluray burner.. and some blank blurays (1x$25) and then you have to find you some ISOs which are like 50gb apeice.. either way that is too much trouble for a ps3 backup.. it would cost less to buy the game used.. ps3 backups will never happen until they make an iso loader..<-- and that will never happen because their "NEO" Geohot has left them with fully updated ps3's and no source code from his germany expo
