Buzzcut how did you write the firmware Or flash after repairing the pcb traces on the board, it should be the same process right??

I've tried to re-flash my liteon 9c drive with all the traces repaired..but I I'm having a hard time putting it into vendor mode, using my xbox power...never can get status:0x72? it's easy getting the flash chip properties when doing the boxxdr method with all the wire at the same time I retrived my DVD key and then flash.

I was wondering if you can help me with that? can you tell me exactly how you did that, and the steps?
I'm curious if this might be the problem..

Using a lower value resistor than 20 ohm seemed to help the times I had trouble getting LO firmwares to dump.  Try lowering resistance to 18 ohms and see if it helps.
