Long story short, I bricked a Hitatchi V79 while trying to get it into mode b to dump it.
I jtaged the xbox and pulled the DVD key from the CPU key. I bought a replacment drive which is a Toshiba-Samsung. When I first hooked it up to my PC I could see it in Jungle Flasher but every time I tried to dump it I got a DVD Key of 00000000000. I saved a copy of the dump and messed around with it. Then for somereason the drive just disapeared and no longer can be viewed in Jungle Flasher. I tried on Windowx XP Pro and Windows 7 64 Bit. I even bought a VIA SATA card to try different a different SATA port but have same results after uninstalling the VIA drivers.
Here is the crazy thing, I took my other xbox and pulled it's hitatchi drive V47D and spoofed it as a Hitatchi V79 with the DVD key of the original drive. Hooked it up and it works fine, plays games and does everything. But I need a drive for the xbox I took this out of so I am back to needing to get this Toshiba-Samsung drive to be viewed in Jungle Flasher. (By the way, also is not found in IPREP or MTKFLash). The drive spins discs just fine but if I hook it up to the xbox I get the 65 Error code which makes me thing I accidently loaded a bad flash to the drive. How can I repair it or get it to display in jungle flasher?
