There is no LT for Samsung right now but you can swap drives if you want.

Samsung LT is current WIP.

Well seeing as there is currently no Samsung firmware that is safe on xbox live I figured it was at least as good of a option as the Xtreme 5.3

I downloaded a pack that had both Ben-q and Samsung iXtreme 1.6 non-stealth. As far as i know someone hacked the original iXtreme 1.6 to always be in the mode it would be in had a activate disk been inserted.

I stopped using the benq version now that we have LT for benq.

What would you use?

5.3

The firmware *isnt* safe regardless, I'd rather give someone the option of booting pure shit (5.3) than only disabling a video partition check (1.6x NS).

Even if they only utilise the TRUE non stealth aspect of it after a banning in the future.

Saves them a reflash.

i don't have a single person banned using 5.3.  granted i don't expect it to last longer than november unless they sneak an update in on us this summer, but i expect 5.3 to be good enough till lt comes out.

You can use old fw with JF, if you read the documentation and understand what you are doing, it shouldnt be a problem.

Instead of risking getting banned using an old fw, I'm gonna swap drives and get a liteon, thanks.
