good thing flashing a benq is a breeze, but still think I am already flagged with the LT 1.0. I appreciate c4eva and TJ for their firmwares that let me play from one banwave to the next, but have stopped believing anything they claim!!!

If you have stopped believing anything they say, then why did you upgrade to LT v1.1, or didn't you?  Hell, why did you put LT on your drive to begin with?

If you believe you may be flagged / banned you could check by going to the xbox 360 repair page. Register your console first. Then click "repair". If it continues to tell you the price of repair and what not then your probably not flagged/ banned. If you receive an error message saying: "error. this service is temporary unavailable" then you are flagged/banned.

Just curious and I apologize if I missed something - but is there going to be a Samsung version of the LT or no?  I see the latest release for Sammy was 1.61.

Thanks All.

When using this BenQ firmware with a non-BenQ board is it best to spoof(I know you dont have to anymore) or just insert key?

Hi everyone,

I'd really appreciate some advice please.

My 360 (BENQ) currently has ixtreme 1.51 on it, and hasn't been online since last summer.

Assuming my box isn't banned, could I flash my drive with the LT firmware, then go online and download the updates? Do I really need to flash to stock first?

Thanks very much.

if its not banned, flash it to stock before going online. Update and then flashed to LT

wow that was easy-peasy...connect drive to CK power adaptor, run JF, open OFW as Source, autoload LT 1.1, click on benq unlock, hit write, hit outro/reset. power down drive, done. it takes as much time as writing this..lol

I'm in the exact same situation as the above poster but I'm curious. Could you, Oggy or whomever explain to me the logistics behind flashing the Benq to OFW before going online? If LT is indeed undetectable then why is it so important to flash to stock first?

If I wasn't such a lazy bastard, I'd update it.  I don't feel like spending extra money, so at the moment, I have to completely dismantle my Xbox to get inside it to flash the drive.  That's not the hard part...getting the drive to show up on my PC is even more difficult.

I've got a BenQ w/LT 1.0.  Luckily I haven't connected it to the internet whether they are checking or not.

its not logistics, its logic...anyway, the previous poster had xtreme 1.51, which is a vulnerable firmware. Putting it to stock could prevent the firmware from being detected, when he goes online to update. Its all speculation at this juncture,  but anything to give the feeling of being "safe" needs to be pursued tongue.gif

that means you more than likely have a jtag exploitable falcon console with no rrod history. goto system settings, console info and see if its pre 2.0.8***.0

ix151 on a benq wont load wave4+ with the bad update. unless youve being playing retail games.

dont connect to live to update, infact dont update at all till you investigate the jtag hack. updating your console will blow your efuses. jtag it, dump nand, flash xbr to nand, remove resitor r6t3, flash dvd fw of choice, done.

Wow so many people assume that all Benq owners are flagged already. What a bunch of creeps. "Glad I didnt flash mine.."  and "Thats what you get.."

Why even post here. If you're not interested or just wanna spread unfounded rumors go elsewhere.

Worst case scenario for me as a Benq 1.0-1.1 upgrader is that my system gets banned and ONCE again I have to hit up ebay and pick up ANOTHER elite console for $90. Thats $30 more than ONE fu<king game! Definitely not a situation that warrants your know-it-all Nerd rage.

If you havent flashed your system with LT 1.0 or 1.1 pat yourself on the back and continue to tell yourself your awesome.

I'll be busy playing my backups on muthafuggin LIVE!

Known security vulnerability.... great, so now we're all flagged. Good thing they took 3 months to test this firmware before releasing it!

If you read carefully they stated that it is a security issue that microsoft hasn't noticed yet and hasn't incorporated it into their flagging methods so as long as you don't wait around with the BenQ update then no need to worry, last thing we need is a major panic going on haha
