I need a person somewhere in Europe, who can remove epoxy and desolder TSOP chip from liteon drive. Also the chips has to be read out and send the dvd-key to me. I have flashed over 60 boxes, but have now 2 what stopped working - don`t know why. It seems that whole PBC has no energy. A Willem EPROM Programmer with 14mm TSOP-Adapter has to be needed and a rework station for desoldering. I can send the boards to you and spoof the keys later by mine on new spare Benq`s.

Would be nice, when someone can help we with that case. I have a nice contact from USA, what want to recover PBC, but I would prefer exracting from reading TSOP somewhere here in Europe. Would be nice to get any contact, who can make it. Thx

There is no "tsop" as there would be on a Hitachi or Samsung drives. The firmware is located within the controller chip itself.

Send syntaxerror329 a PM. He has a pretty good record of being able to recover Liteon boards enough to be able to get the drive key from.
