hello all
a friend of mine bought an elite version of xbox360 an gave it to me in order to flash it
i tried to but i've accidently pushed liteon erase and i think i've erased the drivers fw or i don't know what happened, after a little time i got a bsod at my pc that was connected the driver and then i couldn't close the xbox tray so i disconected everything and put back together the tray wasn't doing anything and i got 1 red led and e64 error
without the driver the xbox opens to the dashboard

after some research i bought a usb maximus xtractor and a pci via 6421a sata card
the problems are: that liteon drive can't eject the tray(i manually eject it), i can't detect the liteon drive at xtractor reader neither at jungle flasher (dosflash32 something detected but it had an error at Inquiry) if i don't have the sata card drivers i can't detect the drive but if i install them the pc kind of freezes but after some while it responds again but the kind of freezes so it's a dead end,
when i put the spear at the hole at r707 the led doesn't flash(it flashes at other spots like the transistor ahead)  
(i haven't solder anything)

any ideas what can i do to detect the driver and retrieve the key?

Well if you pushed the erase button you have erased it. There is no way to get the key from a erased drive.

so next option is to get the key from the mother board.

So go into system settings > system info and find out what kernal you have.

You should se a number like 2.0.xxxx

if XXXX is equal to 7371 it is probably possible to get the key back. If it is less then that # it is definately possible to get key back. If number is greater then 7371 then there is currently no method of getting the key back.

most brand new 360's that even do have the right dash will not have the right cb.  there is a manufacturing date that some consider the cut off date, but i'm not sure of it.

when you see the drive, you are looking at info contained in the firmware.  you erased that firmware so there is nothing for you to see.

Did you ever even press read on the firmware? Just maybe not save it? Why would you erase before reading?

LT comes with stock firmware you can write to the drive, it'll be detected after that, but it'll do you no good without a key.

when i tried it with dosflash32 it detected something and it managed to do the read but only that then at the key read it had a inquiry error (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

That's because it's either a v2 8series liteon or a 9 series liteon drive. Only way to dump these is using MRA method. You screwed up quite a bit.

syntaxerror329's advice is your only choice now, you shouldn't have erased the drive.

I just check the kernel version and is 2.0.7363.0
i guess i give a try to obtain the key from the motherboard, i will let you know for further details(do you have a guide to reccomend me?)

you will be unable to get the key if the drive is dead.  You can not load the kk disc to get the key without a working drive. consider your loss for what it is and sell the parts.

Where have you been? Jtag hack does not require a working drive. DVD Key and CPU Key from motherboard is now possible.

KK disk is obsolete.
