has it been confirmed that this lt firmware is completely undetectable? i didnt really research or anything so sorry if this is an irritating question.
And exactly how would it be confirmed? Quick answer.. it can't be.
Evidently you didn't see that this is a cat & mouse game... firmware becomes stealthier, Microsoft gets smart and identifies modded firmware, firmware becomes stealthier... enlightened now?

You no longer have to spoof the drive, MS changed this couple updates ago. Just use whatever drive you want, you do still have to use the correct drive key.
And perhaps they changed it to make it easier to identify non-spoofed drives.
Drive model changes could easily factor into their modded-firmware-finding heuristics. (IMG:

Can someone tell me the name of the method used to uncripple my 20gb HDD? (Someone told me it was easy)
You'd have to restore your key vault by dumping the nand and "undeleting" it. I wouldn't say it's easy, but I hate soldering.
