I just found this forum site out and man some real good work is going on here. There is a lot of information to sift through however, as i am finding out.

i am wondering about the game  ninja gaiden black, i only really want to mod or edit this one game, yeah i have already finished it, but i was dissapointed when i went to restart a new game on hard, and didnt keep ym weapons and such which i worked very hard for.
 
Anyway i have laready tried the gamesaves, and know hey dont work diddly squat. i have been browsing this forum and realising what can be done,

so my question is what would you recommend for me to mod/hack this one game, specifically i would like to modify the essence value and maybe give one or 2 weapons at the beginning of the game.

i have checked out the numerous faqs, but there is a lot of info contained. anyone know what i would need, and what i shoud not touch just yet

After the big scare back with DOA2 and XB you'll be hard pressed to find any help with Team Ninja/Tecmo game hacks. My only suggestion is to dig through these forums (which blows while the search is down) and find the information about editing the save files.
