I only see the starting offset

Starts and ends at 3C000-3C2EF. I would really like people to start posting this info if they have it. I would post my own if i had it.

Is this the correct offset?  According to OggyUK from another post.  Its 3c000 to 3c2f0.

3c2f0 and 3c2ef are technically the same thing, it just depends if ur including the last character, which looking at the firmware seems to always be a continuation of the firmware itself and separate from the calibration

Just to make it easier in the future, can the JF creators in the next release of JF make JF read the 3C000-3C2EF data from a probe on a 7xxx series drive and also on the LO83info for an 8xxx V1 series or is this not possible? It would save ALOT of hassle for people with these drives which can be modded with software only.

Thanks!

Why would the OFW provided in packs calibration data be any different than any others of that make and model, i understand the key because it matches console and serial and inquiry and the like cause it matches specific drive and that is important but on the hardware functionality side, why would calibration data for reading discs be any different from unit to unit when its the same make and model??? that does not make sense, calibration is not used to identify a drive it is for its proper functionality. Maybe because everyone is so focused on things looking stock that they always think there is a underlying detail they over looked. and yes the OFW in the LT pack has same calibration data as IX1.6 or the like but chances are c4 and co. have been dumping full FW long before it was available to public to, so they used that calibration data from the start. Just a thought, seems like common sense.

Thank you to everyone that read my post, especially the bit about keeping the shit off of here.

As you kindly bothered to read mine, I'll return the favour.

Could a mod / admin any one with sufficient authorization please close my account with immediate effect? Thanks

not sure if I can do through userCP and navigation on my iPhone makes it a little difficult to check,

cheers,

Oggy

one last piece of info which as either not been talked about or talked about enough,if you copy and paste your calibration info from your mra dump to the firmware you inetend to flash to your drive you will get CALIBRATION DATA ALREADY MATCHS in the info pane.obviously thats because you copied and pasted it into the fw maualy with an hexeditor, either i am blind or i have not actualy seen it posted.

Wow, I didn't have you down as a drama queen, Oggy! If you didn't want discussion then you should have requested a thread closure or even a sticky after making your post.

I dont want to debate importance or vitality of this data, and I'd appreciate it if you kept it from this thread as this wasnt its intended purpose.

Then I had to quote myself on the 4th reply to the thread ...  mad.gif

Then we have people asking how to hex edit ... and someone wanting to collate info (eerrr I already said to Bong420 earlier in the thread that this wasnt what this thread was for ...   sleeping.gif

UnnA^ -  uses  IRC, knows where #jungleflasher is, yet asks on this thread for JF to include this - If we could (right now), do you not think we would have???  Why not ask directly in the support channel, that is what it is there for.

Post #23 was the killer blow.

With my account closed, I won't be posting here again, others can learn from others and ignore each other.

Try to informative and helpful, make one small request, and its ignored, only to be asked for my input again.....

BTW, back home now, can't manually close account, so Admin, if you could.

Thanks,

Oggy

I'm not, simply put, I asked not for this thread to be cluttered with shit.

It has been,

I made this post to try and stop the shit, its only fuelled it.

If you look, I replied to some posts, someone wanted my opinion on what to do, I replied.... No crap involved.

I then asked (again)

PM chancer if you want it closed, don't know how hard it is just to not login, but I guess Ill close your post too.  It's xbox-scene, not xbox-hacker, you should expected this to happen anyway.  What do you expect with a site with nearly 500k members.

I was just making a suggestion to you that we should make another thread where people could post their info, not take over yours.  Maybe you got what I said the wrong way.
