Thanks for the firmware guys and for all the work of C4E and Team Jungle!  I would also like to thank Germania for doing what he did to make this come out the way it has, I really admire what you did to defeat the FoundMy method months ago.  I've flashed this to my mod box and it's running fine.  Haven't been online with it nor will I at all since I got a legit box for that.  Besides, there's no point in playing backups online when there will be another ban wave coming up shortly for sure.  I'm just glad to know any future wave games won't be a problem now with my modded box, they all seem to be running just fine.  Again, thanks to everyone involved!  Game on!

I guess that soldering is still required to dump the lite-on 93450c .
Is anyone working on a solder free method?

sucks its only for liteon though, yeah anno most 360's come with them now but still plently of older unbanned consoles around that need sum live lovin, i luckily avoided the ban wave coz i modded my current 360 the day the ban wave was announced  so it hasnt been connected to live whilst its been modded, luckily i checked here before testing it out on live, really wanna sammy fw though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Also im sure the new "unmoddable" dvd drives will be around soon so might be an idea for ppl to grab one before it gets to the point where some arnt moddable again

First off, big thanks to C4E, and everyone else involved in releasing this FW.  Your hard work is much appreciated.

Now for my question -  Can other drives no longer be spoofed with LT?  The inquiry/identify strings do not seem to be saving to the LT-CFW - nowhere within the saved FW can I find my sammy info.

It shows correctly after spoofing, but upon saving and reopening, it shows the DG-16D2S inquiry/identify.  Hex edit can't find the string either.

Not to mention, it doesn't show "Spoofed as:" as it previously did.  It would suck not be able to use this stack of LiteOns with my boxes.

OR.. Did I miss something?

There is no software only solution to the two new drives. There is no news that this will ever happen.

 

There will be many people who unplugged from Live when they seen the ban wave that started last November and have not been on Live since waiting for this LT. THESE PEOPLE WILL PROMPTLY GET BANNED ONCE LOGGING BACK ONTO LIVE WITH THEIR NEW LT FIRMWARE!

This is NOT a flaw in LT. This just means that you was already banned back in November but you just didn't know it yet because you stayed off Live until now. Don,t be a dumb ass and come in here complaining about LT getting you banned when it has NOTHING to do with LT for you getting banned.

I have not seen a official statement of "only for liteon". so I guess there will still be firmwares for other drivers. and if it is out, i think it will be my last time to update firmware for my old samsung. Since it is waveless and I'm tired to do so.

thanks alot everyone involved on a second note they would of course work on the version for the latest distribution 360's first,as most will have the new ones or be getting them.plus not many virgin ts,hitachi or benq drives out there.most are already flashed and probably flagged.not much point in putting the work for models in such a state.i wouldnt be surprised or disappointed if it wasn't even  released for the other drives.why bother really,let everyone ride out the systems on the f/w thats on em,and get a new xbox for use with LT.makes sense considering the warning issued about a virgin xbox.....think about it....think...about...it

i flash mi 74850c lite-on with ixtreme LT, and it works great...but now if i try DVDkey32 gives me the mesage "serial data is bad" and Dummy from ixtreme option does not work eather...if the firmware is the simillar as posible as the original firmware i understand why dummy from ixtreme does not work, but why DVDkey32 doent work???...and if for some reason i lose the backup information of the drive, how can i retrive it from the drive???

No, i have a virgin xbox 360 on live right now with a Hitachi 59 drive, unmodded, i bet there are still people like me who still would like LT to be released on the older drives.
