Again? As in, it's been modded already? Then you're screwed (according to the text). This only works for virgin Xboxes, apparently.

It will still work. It will just work better on an untouched box. And if you have an already modded console, it will work too, just as long as it has not been flagged.

I know it isn't safe, but are non-splitvid discs still bootable with LT?

I'd also like to know.

Thought you could not flash a Lite On drive. I always though you had to get the key and replace the drive with another and spoof the firmware.

I have a question that I think many will also have. It's about this line in the readme:

QUOTE
Warning! Lt will not save you from being banned if console is already flagged by using a previous firmware or non-stealth discs

Does this only refer to playing on Live with a previous firmware/non-stealth disc? What if I've flashed my drive with previous firmware but have never connected my console to Live? Will my console keep a record of this?

"It is also advisable to apply all system updates before flashing with LT. All future console system updates (not game updates) must be applied with caution"

Odd, I thought it seems safer to flash LT first and than update your dash to the latest.  I am referring to those who still have the previous ixtreme and never updated to the latest dash.

If you have never connected to Live, you never could have been flagged. smile.gif You should be fine.

QUOTE
Disc images must also be splitvid and preferred SS v2

Does this mean images that are NOT splitvid will NOT load?

QUOTE
It is also advisable to apply all system updates before flashing with LT. All future console system updates (not game updates) must be applied with caution

So do not use if you have a old dash (ie going to J-TAG your console or have not connected to live for a long time)?
Did they find something that affects the drive in the lastest dashboard?
