I for one am very excited about this. C64 doe's an amazing job and I love that he makes these firmwares for us.

Just one question though. With this new firmware coming soon do we need any special devices to use it? Or any kind of soldering to install the firmware?

Unofficial files are incomplete and unsafe. Protection was to prevent unofficial use.

Yeah, ok you said that so it MUST be true!!
Now I know most of the 'kids' here will buy that, but c'mon, is team loyalty that bad that yet again, a (has to be) different member of your 'team' leaked yet another 'pre-release'?

C'Mon were not all stupid!!

Hands down a true releif   beerchug.gif

I thought they would never release the new firmware.

It seems as if all hacking and homebrew in the Scene is being diluted by piracy, there are so many people in this world that have no respect for true hacking or homebrew.

Mainly young internet kids who google how to's all day just to benefit by downloading pirated games and playing them on flashed consoles, then get banned and wine and cry about how the firmware was bad and to hurry up and release an update just so they can play pirated games on live again.

All the fuss is over when can we play are copied games on live again, the true spirit is almost dead.

It's truly a shame.... lol at least we have homebrew to look forward to now.... what a start it's had

Maybe you should start giving a few posts of appreciation - then maybe you will see Benq, Samsung & Hitachi versions too - because they won't come from anyone else we can assure you of that much.

And you want LT for what? oh yeah 'backup' games.
You dont need LT for "true hacking or homebrew"

Sadly thats the way things have allways been when it comes to hacking consoles, just look at the wii scene hardly any homebrew at all, its all pirated games and ppl crying over why game x does not work and demand a fix instantly.

its great that the xbox now has homebrew and all the work thats gone into it, but i sadly wont be part of it due to the amount of xboxs ive had fail on me. beerchug.gif to alll those involved.

you know i dont get one thing about these so called saints who want to mod to play back ups and not to play pirated games. ...

I can understand, how an individual, can get so excited over being able to play backup of his own games. To a point that he is willing to go to extremes to get to play. ( two or three xboxes, for online, and ofline, and what not) .. Thats all B.S. Yea i agree, that there are ppl out there that play there games and want to protect them but really dont see them jumping with joy. I have had the ps1, dreamcast, ps2, 360. Nes, Super nintendo., apart from the cartridges, I never really had a game go bad. Nor have I ever felt a game was worth preserving for the rest of a human life.. I mean really ? u wanna play nba 2k7 in 2015 ?

so in my opinion, anyone who gets any sort of excitement about BACKUPS>.. pirates.. in some way another. Some maybe to try out a game before they buy , while others buy games that are really good but pirate the games they dont care much for...

C4E can suck my balls.. they all want fame and glory for coding up some bullshit..
anybody with programming exp. can be in the hotseat... there are only so many of us out there... but then there are only about half of them are interested in coding for underground video game sites (AKA team LT,xedev, freexex).

programing is not hard it just  takes along time to debug

I myself didnt mod just to play backups i admit it was for other reasons....lol mainly checking a game out before dishing out $60.00

if its good i will buy it just to go online... thats why my 360 retail game collection only really consists of 1 game MW2, hands down the only game i feel is worth going online to play

my response was not targeted as me being a saint that only plays backups of games i own, just more directed towards everyone that doesn't understand the complexity behind the scenes, it's always a demand a fix is released if something goes wrong... or someone whining about bad firmware got there system banned.... just sit back and enjoy the ride the hacking scene always has its up's and down's but don't applaud it when it's going good and then curse it when it's going bad....

2 words for everyone

BE GRATEFUL

Until you ever code up your own firmware for the 360 that can go on Live undected, you have no right to say that.  You are killing the scene by saying garbage like this.
