the release and purpose of LT is just as stupid as the statement above. But I guess anything that rocks your boat right?

I totally agree with them/ANYONE having the right to charge for a product and such. I'm sure the only reason they don't is because there ARE OTHER PEOPLE who can and DID make firmwares for free. If they stopped, someone else would surely pick up in their stead.... C4eva came into the scene with his theories and solutions and just blew everyone out of the water. Their is no doubt in my mind that his firmware became the standard because he is/was the BEST.

The point I was trying to make,
-is my personal opinion of the things I've read from the "official" spokesperson for TJ regarding the whole foundmy.com scam (Iries), and how he/they were DEFENDING IT! Then some anonymous hacker(THE SAME ONE AS THIS TIME

you, you know who YOU are!) does the same thing to them and decrypts their encryption AGAIN! Once again, and ONLY then is a FREE solution offered or mentioned. Up until 2 days ago all the RUMORS and SPECULATION pegged TJ as charging a reseller fee, etc.... AFTER their encryption is debunked they quickly update their twitter to a "FREE release is coming soon" I'm sorry I respect JF and the GREAT things they have done, but ever since the foundmy scandal ALL my personal donations have seized.
-And then you have that whole memorial thing of the "former Team Jungle" thing...
-The release for 1.61 AFTER 1.6non-stealth was created. (I think it took like 3 months to get 1.61 released, when 1.51 edits took like a 3 weeks after the debut of the new video partitions... You'll have to pardon my time-lapses I do a LOT of drugs!)

-I've had a LT for two days now, there was no mention of a free release until AFTER there firmware was already leaked....AGAIN. It's my personal opinion that TJ was planning on charging a fee, (which they have the RIGHT to, except for the legal issues behind that. DRMA it's a bitch!) But now they are merely trying to save face-in my opinion, since there plans have been debunked, and it will most likely be in the normal place VERY SOON , since people are dispersing it on their own already.

Ugh, you know what could have 100% avoided ALL of this mess? A few updates every now and then, nothing detailed or exposing to the hacking crew but just a FEW SIMPLE UPDATES about progress or to refute a couple of the lame claims. All that's happening is people are calling it as they see it, because guess what...that is all they have to go on.

We are fed pages of contradicting posts from respected individuals in the hacking community and then moderators lash out at those just trying to digest the megaton of bullspit out there.

Anyhow, respects to the person(s) doing the hacking and please, just give the general pop a bone every now and then.

the most important thing before releasing this is to use abgx360 gui and convince/tell people about it.
Without proper media inserted it will be a waste.
It would be nice to know more about the "splitvid".

What "more" is there to know? It pretty self explantory, Because LT is non-stealth the disc needs to have correct stealth patch/emulation including splitvid. Spltvid wasnt always neccesary before because ixtreme took care of it, now it doesnt.

Use abgx360 to make sure your discs are stealthed/validated and also make sure the splitvid option is set to "add or fix if invalid"

yeah i am interested in that as well. anyone know what the requirements are now? is it still a fact that splitvid is a must? anything else we should know? is abgx360 going to see an update to coincide with the new fw?

i suppose all this info will be known once an official release is made, but if i missed it somewhere i would love some info...

yes , we know its a must. But is the abgx360 gui uptodate? It seems to tackle it fine, but do we really know if the splitvid function is correct?

But I guess the abgx360 team will be informed by teamjungle if they want/prefer a change in it.
