I dont know if he reads this stuff but a few years back i had an email discussion with some industry bigwig. He had done this whole presentation to industry insiders about how important drive media security is and that was why sony's blu-ray media was so superior...he did mention c4eva and his original hack even. But stated that while the dvd drive was compromised no real homebrew situation was there on the 360...I then sent him a message including this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8tQtpKKVao basically saying uh dude your wrong....several years have poassed and now look at the state of homebrew blossoming....

Commodore4eva this in many ways is all thanks to your work...I know he was not alone but without the ability to read burned media homebrew would be waaaay different...it may have took longer as well....

Well i am thankfull GERE got us a leeked copy. This seems to have motivated the Team to make a official release "shortly"

Now what i am wondering is what do they consider "shortly"

To me that means a day or two.

You people are silly.

Even as TJ gets ready to hand out LT for free, like they always said they would, everyone has switched their story to "They wanted to make everyone pay for it". Just can't let go huh? That's a bunch or nonsense. Do you people really think that TJ would protect LT with encryption that could be cracked so easy. TJ is made up of hackers, I'm pretty sure they would know if their security was so easliy crackable. People on these forums talk about them like it their first year on the job or something.

Anyway....thanks again TJ and C4E. Way to step it up as always.

I am debating about whether to go for it and flash a NEW 360 with it for LIVE. If I do it will only be 1 360 so if I get banned it's only 1 360!

I lost 4 360's on the last BAN in november a few months ago, and will not make that mistake again, PLENTY of other MISTAKES, just not that one again!

The LEADER of Team Jungle himself came forward and admitted that they had already specifically done this before (foundmy) and that the intention was to do it AGAIN. They HAVE!

Yes it was also going to be free but only after they had initially cashed in from reseller who have bought the decryption of keys etc in bulk as a short offer.

The scene is inextricably ruined.

PERIOD.

Too many people know now. Anyone can pay $20 to get their drives flashed.

I remember the days when a hacked console or phone was the refuge for those of us who were smart enough to hack it and bold enough to break the societal norm.

By making things easier and more accessible and idiots hacking for pay we have ruined the scene.
