Why would you remove the jitter fix?  If you're referring to what I think you're referring to, that was a mathematical error which should certainly be fixed.

(v5.3) Disc-Jitter added for Challenge Types 5/7 to avoid possible replay detection.
Disc-Jitter is slight randomization added to the result of Challenge types 5 and 7 so as to emulate a result from an actual physical drive.
This is to avoid any possible replay detection.

As i understand it you can add this in ABGX360 to you disc, so the drive dont need to emulate it

It is really sad that all the shouts and screams for a new firmware, but no one will participate in the development of a new one. Really sad

Dude dont listen to the stupid bone head kids keep doing what your doing you can only get better at it and maybe someday will be able to write your own firmware! without people like us that are willing to help and test things there would be no scene! The reason noone will help is most people on here have no clue how to even look at a firmware file in hex or anything. All half the people on here wants is free games and to play on live and can care less about the scene or anything else. I will be starting to help out maybe we can team up and knock out some firmwares. I use to make 3m code for dtv (ever here of pearl 3m code for dtv h card that was my code)and all so i know how to code and all that so im going to start reading everything i can about these firmwares and hopefully can make something special. biggrin.gif

Point is dont let any of the bone heads bring you down from testing not everyone on here is like that!

SS, good to see you keeping at the firmwares! Unfortunately my Samsung box RROD'd two months ago and Microsoft replaced it with a LiteOn. Otherwise I would be more than happy to use your firmware. I have no faith whatsoever in LT...

SS be you, do your thing! If I had a sammy I would test, but all I have are BenQ's(with your rev 3) and Hitachi's(running 1.7 Xtreme). Maybe a Hitachi next? smile.gif

Waa waa give me my free games and screw M$ for banning my console. I have the right to do whatever I want with my property and M$ can't stop me. They should let everyone play for free and give us all the games we want so we don't have to download them and use all of daddy's bandwidth.

Screw the people that say they are working on new firmware and don't deliver. Don't they see we are waiting on them so we can cheat M$ out of more money!!!

Sorry,  All the negative posts here lately have overflowed in me and I need to get it out. Great work. All the respect in the world for people that can understand code and make something useful for others. For all the haters out there, either make your own firmware or quit your complaining.

SS, so what did you do this time.  it looks like 5.2 to me? 5.3 had disc jitter added so if you used 5.2 then technically you didn't remove it...  You removed the splitvid fix?
