Bricked Liteon Without Key
« on: January 15, 2010, 02:51:00 PM »

Hey everyone,

I was trying to retrieve my liteon key using my USB xtractor in jungleflasher but I forgot to make it halfway open so it kept giving me bad serial number or whatever. Then when I realized I forgot to open it halfway it won't even eject anymore. So I was just wondering can I still recover it or is there no hope for it?

You can try the method for complete lite-on firmware dump but if something is wrong with the controller then its dead and there is nothing that can be done.

See the full firmware dump here http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=698256

Ok, so I have to solder some stuff together and I'm not used to doing that. Is there a easier way or is there a video for it?

Have you tried manually ejecting the drive?

messed up the dvd power?
quite strange!

u forgot to halfway....well there's no reason that the drive doesn't eject after a powercycle

disconnect everything, move the drive into the 360, try to eject with 360 psu (power)
