« on: January 07, 2010, 11:09:00 AM »

Hi, I have problem to read the flashing chip properties in JF. I use JF 0.1.69 beta (75). I have done many of LiteOns (83850c v2 too - same method as 93450c). I'm using MRA's method (http://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=33994.0).

Drive info:
Model No: DG-16D2S-09C
Manufactered: September 2009
HW Ver.: A0A2
FW Ver.: 93450C

Drive Properties in JF:
Vendor: PLDS
Name: DG-16D2S
F/W Rev: 9345

I have tried 22, 20 and 18 ohm resistor.

Any help? Thanks.

It should work with 93450c sept. too. Try to use dosflash. All the 93450c that I've flashed have not any problems with dump reading. Carefully check your cuts and wires.

Cuts and wires are ok. Where can I download dosflash?

I downloaded dosflash from http://www.360mods.net/index.php?name=Down...tails&id=86 and run dosflash32 (switch ON), but when I clicked to Yes (MTK Vendor) -> Turn off and Turn on -> sending MTK Vendor Intro and Status 0x52. Any help or do I something wrong?

I did a 93850c September drive, in JungleFlasher, earlier this week. I had no problem what so ever. I used a 20 ohm resistor.

Hey rendis I just done one 93450c with a 22Ohm and it worked as I did have a problem with using a little too much solder on one of the points. Ensure that you don't bleed any solder over any unexposed trace for this will cause you to RROD like I did the first time around. Simply cut your traces with a DREMEL TOOL as I did referring to the BOXX meth. Using Lenline brushes/ pens are ideal for soldering and removing abrasive coverings from metallic surfaces which will give you a more professional look and the application of flux will ensure that you get a solid connection. JF worked a charm using BOXXDR's technique and is the best so far. Luckily that I am very proficient with soldering as I am a "Brazer" who works everyday utilizing solder, flux, alloy and dissimilar metals.

Which is why I have ordered the simple method of Xecuter's Lite-On Key read and dump connector!
