There are some unclear things within the JF pdf tut that needs to be implemented though...great job Team Jungle and C4Eva. I just want to point out some things that may be considered to be implemented inside the tut. First let's take a look at the "cutting traces" portion. Could there be a list of tools used to cut the traces and how many strokes should be made when cutting the traces? Do the traces get refilled after the fw is extracted or not? Should other Ohm resistors be used...16, 20, etc., instead of the 22Ohm if users seem to think that they don't work? What's the best method for STRIPPING the "grass" from the MOBO and with what tool to strip with in the first place?
None of that is relative to JungleFlasher, hence why we havent included it - although we do state to orejoin traces.
The JungleFlasher guide is for appyling JF to complete the task. We included images of how we've collectively modded the drives - some prefer MRA's pin lift method, some prefer BoxxDR's method of using a jump wire for Pad 101.
Horses for courses, there's a few ways of appyling this hack, there is no right/wrong way.
The JF tut will not expand another 30 pages just to add the many ways to skin a cat. The info is collectively available, we dont cover Slax for setting modeb on a similar basis either.
Just a little FYI
